Coach Stop Motel

The room was clean and nice once we got settled. I'm sure it's a great place if it were the time of year to use the pool or firepit, we were visiting way out of season. The waitstaff were very friendly.

The way were greeted for entering an hour early seemed a little strong, we just wanted to use the restroom after the long drive, The restaurant food could use some specials. It was clean and there were no worries, just something 'different' would have been nice for a dinner out. Would still go back for a burger.

I am in the health care profession so I do alot of traveling, with the price of gas, sometimes its easier to just get a hotel, crash for the nite, n get up refreshed n ready.I happened upon this place totally by accident , my usuals were all booked due to a car rally so I thought why not, looked nice enough for my needs, which usually consist of a bed, shower n bathroom facilities, TV is an added bonus but not a necessity lol.I arrived , checked in , before I took my bags up I asked the gentleman if the bar was still open because I was famished n let's be honest an ice cold beer sounded AMAZING!I was pleasantly surprised when I was told yes they would be for another couple of hours...ssswwweeett.I then proceeded to take my bags upstairs to my room , again I was pleasantly surprised all of the emenities needed n very clean n comfortable, went down had a delicious meal n yes I got my beer lol.All in all I was very impressed , I would recommend to anyone n not to quote Schwarzenegger but "I'll be back"! 😁😅🤣

Can't think of a thing!

The room was basic and exactly what I expected. The Staff went above and beyond to help me. I had just bicycle up from Jersey Shore and there for I was very tired and hungry, unfortunately the tavern which is part of the site was closed on weekday. Since the area was being it by a storm, the Staff went out of their way and went to a local restaurant to get me something to eat. If it wasn't for them, I don't know what I would have done.

Bed was large and comfortable. Room was older and not fancy but was clean. Staff was friendly. Location was quiet. It is in beautiful country and the main building is historic.

Cable company was in some kind of argument, so only tv was roku streaming free channels unless you wanted to sign into your own account. Shower head was missing in my room. I really was only sleeping there for a couple of nights, so it wasn't a big deal.

No problem switching rooms. Owner/manager Karen was great. Wife couldn't do stairs due to her hip. Comfortable, quiet and great view of the mountains. FABULOUS food in the attached restaurant. One of those hidden gems that exceeds expectations. This is the second time my wife and I have stayed here and if we come back to the area, I'm sure it won't be our last.

Strictly speaking of the facility, a bit dated but to be expected with a building from it's time period. That being said, it was clean and completely functional. Bed was a bit hard for my taste but not terrible.

3rd year in a row we've stayed here. Love the quaint rooms, restaurant/bar and mountain scenery out back. Staff was great and very accommodating. Owners are originally from DELCO so we felt even more at home! 👍😎

Could have a little bit better coffee machine in the room but this is coming from someone who lives in coffee so that would apply just about anywhere. LOL

Very good location for biking, hiking fishing and dark sky watching, Quiet and pleasant surroundings. Very well-prepared dinners with ample selections. I was put in a handicapped room (not needed) at same price as others. One room was $324 for three nights; all others were $274.00 although all rooms were identical. No explanation asked for or given. The Inn was short-handed: apparently no one wants to work with all the free subsistence money. The owner had to substitute for the cook - the owner is himself a very good cook with good variety. The wife led the room cleanup team.

We had to cancel one room at the last minute; the owner would not cut us any slack although we had engaged six rooms. No indication why one room would cost more than all the others. (Yes, I should have asked.) One of the rooms was poorly cleaned and had a broken fire alarm, necessitating moving to another room. Beds were quite basic; certainly okay to sleep on but by no means equal to a Hampton Inn or such. Swimming pool was advertised but was completely shut down.

really liked the location and that there was a restaurant on site. Rooms were nicely furnished and included refrigerator, microwave, and very comfortable beds.

WiFi connection wasn’t reliable at the motel side of the property and cell service was nonexistent. i didn’t like that housekeeping didn’t stop by everyday to at least check if toilet paper or towels needed replaced.

Room was nice and big. I enjoyed the deep tub, was nice to relax in a bath. Fridge and microwave were clean and worked well. Quiet surroundings. I was surprised to see a payphone booth in the parking lot.

One of the chairs in the room needed repainted - ended up with paint chips on my arm every time I sat in it, and stuck to the seat if I sat for more than 2 minutes. There was only one small trashcan in the bathroom, none in the main room. Checkout was just a key drop. No phone in the room.

nice rooms. clean. friendly staff. reached out to me when I was late getting there to let me know how to check in. conveniently located.

That it is right beside the road.
