Avista Resort

The beach has beautiful shells to discover on long or short walks. We enjoyed viewing beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We loved our balcony. The staff were all nice. We enjoyed renting a movie from the lobby Redbox type machine.

The parking garage is two-way, very narrow, has very tight parking spots, and it is located across the street from the hotel. The parking garage was very chaotic on check-in day as many families were trying to find a spot to park. We went to the grocery store and struggled to carry everything across the street and up to our room. We did not use our car again until time to leave.

Location exceptional, parking right across the street a few feet away and FREE. Beach literally ground floor of hotel, was not crowded at all. Didn't use the pool but was surprised there was an indoor and outdoor pooling, pool was very nice aswell great for the kids, very nice lazy river and Jacuzzis. There is a bar in the pool area and a snack shack, we ordered drinks and had some tenders with fries after the beach dried off to some food and drinks. Beach was so relaxing not crowded the waves were so intense water was so beautiful loved it, So much fun I miss it already I wanna go back ! Definitely recommend for everyone family, friends, or just your partner/spouse. There's a little amusement park some streets down which was fun ! Little carnival vibes. Also alot of shops and restaurants on the strip .

Everything was perfect no complaints, luxurious apartment basically. I was searching for months and so glad I went with this one !

The room was so clean. Everywhere we went in the building, someone was cleaning something. Avista doesn't have that moldy/mildew smell in the halls or elevators. You come out of the elevator and it's a refreshing smell. This is my second time staying here and both times I was impressed with the cleanliness. Thanks for taking pride in your property Avista Resort!!!

Parking deck. A little close for comfort on the parking but that's just parking decks in general.

The room was very clean. The staff members were all friendly and responsive to needs and questions. Room service was outstanding. Check-in was easy. We appreciated that the room and linens were cleaned with non-fragrant products.

Cigarette smoke drifted over from the desiganted smoking area to our first-floor balcony. The pools were small, and often very crowded. The DJ at the pool area played his music very loudly, so that it could be heard not only from our room, but also on the beach. We suggest that the volume be adjusted so that the music is for only those in the pool area.

Was in room 512. Bed was comfortable. Spa tub was amazing. The view was incredible considering it was ocean view and not oceanfront. It was a view of the street and the ocean. Felt like it was oceanfront. Staff, all the way from the hops to desk were amazing and helpful. Very clean. Had fresh towels everyday which was nice.

There was a washer/ dryer combo in the room. Did not dry clothes as it was a steam dryer. Had to use laundry facilities. Because the resort is split, it did make it confusing at first when arriving and unloading. I'm not handicap but do have issues walking. Parking is across the street and the golf cart wasn't always available. Maybe put in a cross walk on the third floor of the parking garage to the hotel for us that take longer to go across the street. Pools were on the smaller size but nice.

Really nice room and view; on 16th of 17 floors. Room contained fully kitchen (oven and frig), washer/dryer, nice bed, and full size living room. Great view of beach from within room. Large balcony that even improved view of beach. Our bedroom even had a murphy bed in wall - we didn't open so can't comment on it. Furniture and carpet wasn't worn or dirty and was clean. Bed comfortable. Wife loved jacuzzi tub. Pools and access to beach was very easy. Didn't go to any of the restaurants.

Absolutely who ever designed on the check-in and unloading of luggage flow be flogged. THERE ARE 8-12 PARKING SPOTS for check-in for an 180 room resort!! Good luck pulling in and out of the narrow zone under the buildings. Most of the time we pull up to the lobby, but that is a narrow lane that isn't clearly labeled and looks like a walkway. The guest parking is across a busy divided 4 lane road. Have you played the game Frogger (?) You are the frog. Seriously sucks for an introduction to the property.

Clean, comfortable room. Plenty of towels and wash clothes. Everything you needed the resort provided. Washer & dryer were a bonus. Room had an excellent view. I requested to be in a high floor and the resort was able to place me on an excellent floor. If you have a large truck like I do, the resorts parking deck has a tall enough ceiling to accommodate a large truck.

There was no complaints. The resort, staff and amenities and views were all great. By far one of the best resorts that I’ve stayed at. I will definitely be booking again soon.

The resort was beautiful and clean. The best part was the staff. They couldn't have been any more friendlier and helpful. They truly put the guest first. They would go out of their way to make sure everything was going good and still offer more.

The parking garage is kind of tight. Not a lot a room for mid size to larger vehicles. Still, I was always able to find somewhere to park and the staff at the resort was there to shuttle guest back and forth on golf carts. On our first day, after we checked in we decided to go back out to town to pick up a few things. A gentleman by the name of Cornelius held the hotel door open for us. Insisted on giving us a ride to our vehicle and gave me his card and said that when you get close to getting back. Give me a call and I will be waiting to care you back over to the hotel. Great, Great staff. I truly can't say enough.

We were there 8/7 thru 8/11. Friendliness place I have ever stayed. From check-in to the random maintenance employee we would encounter. Everyone asked if we were enjoying our stay and if we needed anything. We had plenty of supplies for our stay, and our "side view" was just as good as a full ocean front view. The beds and pillows were comfortable as well. I would stay again.

The hot water was not really that hot. We did not report it, though we should have. It needed a little TLC in certain places, but it was very family friendly, and I know it gets a lot of wear.
