Beach Cove Resort

Property location was very good with easy access to the beach. The rooms has a nice view of the ocean and were clean and large enough to accommodate our family of 5. our children enjoyed the multiple outdoor pools, hot tubs and lazy River while my husband and I enjoyed the service and drinks and the bar. We did not attend the buffet for breakfast, but the prices were reasonable.

We were disappointed that the indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna were not available for use. The Town Center restaurant did not have some of the menu items available when we visited.

The overall facility was nice. The check in and check out procedure was easy. The room was a good size and had a nice view. Parking was adequate and easily accessible. Although I did not use the outdoor pools, they were of nice size and were heated.

Furnishings in the room were dated. Linens were average to fair quality (thin sheets, thin & small bath towels). I booked at Beach Cove Resort over other communities based on: Indoor Pool & Hot Tub; On-Site Restaurant & Arcade. I paid more for Beach Cove than I would have at other communities because of these features. I was disappointed the indoor pool & hot tub were closed for maintenance/ remodeling. The on-site restaurant & arcade were also closed while I was there. (Spring hours Thurs - Sun and I was there Mon-Thurs). I do understand maintenance was needed on the indoor pool and I do understand spring hours on the amenities. However, had I known this beforehand, I would have booked elsewhere for a lower price.

Love the location Rooms are large and spacious Have stayed there many years and always enjoy Love the swimming pools. They are the best on the beach

Resort is getting a little run down - needs some updating Sad that the pass on the third floor has been removed and unable to go from parking lot to third floor. I would think that brings all the traffic thru lobby and elevators more crowded

The third floor location of the room in TowerB - good view of sunrise and ocean. Layout of room was unique and much nicer than other beach condos we’ve stayed in. The decor was beach but not tacky and had some nice older furniture and a lovely leather sofa plus metal art objects that I really enjoyed - the birds up on the ledge in the bedroom, etc. The little stained glass panel at the side of the front door added a nice touch. Great lights in bathroom around mirror for night light.

Toilet was in a small cramped corner between counter and wall. Shower didn’t shut off well and water pressure wasn’t great.

The breakfast buffet was great. We didn’t have to leave the resort to go out for food. The food was fresh and tasty and plenty to choose from. The staff was very helpful and polite.

The weather was beautiful and sunny but I was hoping for warmer weather. The date was chosen because it’s our anniversary and sometimes we get lucky and it’s mid 70s.

We really enjoyed the location and oceanview, while staying at the resort. We enjoyed sitting on patio/balcony and taking walks at the beach. Next time, we will get in the pool. Also, the bedroom and living/kitchen area was tidy-- no issues/concerns. We hope to return to Beach Cove Resort---soon!

Close to everything you need, beach, shopping, and dining.

Elevators! Expect to spend some time waiting on the elevators, staff or cleaning crew use them for floor by floor travel, it would be great if they had a service elevator to not slow down guest elevators.

Loved the access to the beach the arcade and pool area was great for the family. Breakfast was good. Great beach location the parking was close, convenient and you were covered from the rain. The bedding was clean the mattress didn't show any signs of bed bugs. The staff at the front desk was polite. Housekeeping does not enter the room except to grab your trash and towels when left at the door and they leave clean towels in a bag by the door as well for safety reasons.

Room was outdated. The wall decor, and light fixtures and lamps were dusty. The floor was dirty as if it had not been swept. They gave us clean towels but only two sets. When they replaced 3 sets. There were not extra towels under the sink as they said it would be. The ATM is in the bar/restaurant that doesn't open until noon.

Great location. The pool areas were so nice and never too crowded.

Having to ask for room to be cleaned daily was a little annoying

Such a cozy room and loved the sound of the ocean at night

There were no carts available to unload or to pack up your things when you left.
