Baymont by Wyndham Cookeville

The check in process was quick and easy. The gentleman was friendly and patiently answered my questions. The room was huge and the patios and balconies that are on every room is the absolute best! Our room was steps away from the pool which is centrally located and close to all the rooms . I was traveling with 2 senior dogs, so having the patio made it easy and quick to take them out. Comfortable beds and pillows. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel overall shows it's age. A fresh paint job in our room would have gone a long way. The breakfast was "average". Only other thing we didn't like was that there was a man in an upstairs apartment/room to the right of the pool that was BLASTING music, and did so until around 10pm that night. Given that we had had a 12 hr driving day, it would have been nice to get to sleep a little bit early than we were able to because of that noise.

We were traveling on motorcycles and had requested location for a bottom floor with parking so we could keep an eye on our bikes and we were accomadated as well as we had a balcony we could step outside to. It was very nice.

There was nothing bad about this place at all. Even the Mexican restaurant next door was very convenient and very good along with great service. But I do dislike the fact that booking.com does not give you any notice or warn you that they will charge you a $100 deposit refundable. My 2nd booking with booking.com I've been charged a deposit without knowing at arrival. I don't believe I will be booking with booking com anymore.

This place is a hidden gem and is wonderful!! Staff is super friendly!!! They made an exception for our 2 cats while we were moving across country which couldn't be more appreciated!! The room was clean and comfortable with an excellent view! We were also able to park our car right in front of our room which is also appreciated! We had a small patio area with table and chairs. There was a great Mexican restaurant in the parking lot that I had read about in other reviews so we gave it a shot. They're great too!! We ordered it to go since we had our kitties in the room but that patio plus a good Corona from down the street at Mike's Market, made for a pretty nice evening during our travels. A recharge that was much needed! Thank you so much for such a nice stay!! We will be back!

Nothing. Everything was great!

We have stayed here before. Cookeville is nearby. This facility sits off of I 40 so is very convenient but also quiet as it sits back and higher then the actual highway. There is one side of the facility that has balconies and has a view of a mountain side. We always chose a room that faces the interstate that has a a dining area and sink. There is not a full size refrigerator or a stove but has a toaster and just extra space. There is a Mexican restaurant on site but we have never tried it. It most be decent as it always seems busy with patrons. There is a pool but we have never used it.

The only thing we have never been pleased with is the beds. They are very hard. After a few days of being there they really become uncomfortable. And I would think that during this covid issue, with maybe not as many travelers the company should be using this time to address some of the maintenance issues, like some of the areas need to be painted and just general updating.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Room was very spacious and updated, (exept for the ugly curtains, lol). The pool was fantastic.

THE BEDS ARE HARD AS A ROCK. I think sleeping on the floor would be more comfortable. I loved everything else, just wish my back was not killing me. . . . The layout of the building is a little confusing. I suggest finding your room before carrying in your belongings, as i did not do, i could have moved my car closer and not carried belongings thru the whole building.

The view was pretty. The room was clean and spacious.

Well I requested no steps, ground floor, but it had step going to ground floor. I'm sure there was a handicap ramp somewhere. The this that got me was that you needed a key to get into the motel but to get breakfast in the morning they kept the door locked between the motel rooms and where they kept the food. Forcing you outside into the cold to go around and come through the front door to get it.

The property is very clean, breakfast varieties, very quiet and convenient and pool is amazing with plenty of chairs.

The property is great! All of the staff is amazing except the part time worker named Sid. He is very, very rude, unprofessional does not like assisting the guests and stays on his phone in a little office with his friends hanging out.

Location. Room. Outdoor patio. Personnel. Truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again given the opportunity. Mexican restaurant within 500 feet of property was an added bonus given the quality of the meal.

The only negative was the discarded cigarette butts around the outdoor patio area. Mentioned this to the clerk at checkout and she acknowledged that it was a problem they were trying to correct.

I liked the staff and to be more specific the gentleman that was on shift both checking me in and checking me out. The overall atmosphere was positive the whole time. Overall we weren't bothered by anyone it was peaceful and has a nice pool if you like to have a lot of fun in the summer time.

Almost everything was great, clean and comfortable. The best part was the Staff. They are friendly, courteous, accommodating and even made my Service Dog feel welcome. I will definitely be back any chance I have.

There were only 2 minor flaws for us; the steps were somewhat slippery in the rain and, Teka, my Service Dog, would have liked more grassy areas.
