Hyatt Place Nashville Downtown

We liked being close to everything. We liked the young guy on the Valet. He was a hustler! Wish I knew his name.

We didn’t like the air conditioning vent blowing on the bed! The sliding glass door entrance to the bathroom would NOT stay shut unless locked. There wasn’t any small light to leave on to lead you to the bed or bathroom. Couldn’t leave the bathroom light on, because it was too bright coming through the glass door. There wasn’t a ice machine on our floor. Had to go to another floor! The room card didn’t work half the time in the elevator when trying to go up. It would not pick up!

Loved that the breakfast was included every day and that selection was huge. Also, the time frame of 3 hrs was great, that way we could sleep in a bit if we wanted. Loved that it was in walking distance of the things we wanted to see and do the most.

No working exhaust fan in the bathroom? But then again perhaps that’s how it was meant to be? The shelf inside the shower had been heavily chalked and when I tried sitting my items on it, completely fell off the wall. It just needed to be chalked again but the job needed to be done a lot better then it had been. More professionally done.

We loved the location of the hotel and it was very clean and up to date! I loved the shower… it was roomy with strong water spray from shower head! TV was huge and the A/C was pretty quiet. In fact the hotel was quiet even in the hallways! The beds were comfortable and the security was top notch! My total bill with parking and taxes was $441.00 for one night which is a bit pricey in my opinion but rather comparable to the others downtown! It was my husbands 67th birthday!

A bit expensive for one night! Also, my son left his car keys behind and when we called the hotel the staff at the front desk told us to talk to housekeeping but they didn’t answer and no one called us back about it! So we are going to have to get a locksmith to come over to my house to cut a new key on a key fob for $261.00 He should of left his keys at home cuz we didn’t even drive his car, we drove mine! Kids!!!! We went to a Tennessee Titans game! We live 2 hours from Nashville in Evansville, Indiana! Wish the hotel would call us about the keys! The breakfast bar was just ‘okay’ but food lacked flavor and was a bit bland

Perfect location for Broadway. Staff was very friendly!

No air on the first floor..to sit at the bar with a fan blowing my money and hair everywhere. Not to mention noisy. Not good experience. The breakfast was not great. One type of meat. The French toast or waffle sticks were hard like they were frozen and toasted. And if u don't like scrambled eggs forget it. We went elsewhere and paid for breakfast. You need more staff. Wait is too long to get a drink because the bartender is also checking someone in.

I enjoyed the hot breakfast every morning and how my towels were replaced once I got back on my second day.

I did not like how I had to continually use my room key for the elevator. The very small parking garage and $43 a day to go park in the garage did not work well for me. When I stayed at the Hyatt in Destin FL the parking was free and tons of parking options. I also did not need my key card for the elevators in Destin.

Everyone was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful!

They need more help In the bar. We went twice, around noon, and at 10:30 at night. At each visit to the bar, there was only one bartender. He had to fix drinks, take food orders, cook and serve guests their food. That’s too much for one person when you have over 25 people ordering drinks and food. I must say that both bartenders did and excellent job! But you could see that it was a lot of stress on each of them.

Pool, location, cleanliness

Check in. Booking.com only sent half of our reservation to the hotel , and only one room was visible. After around 30 minutes, the hotel was able to find the original booking. Good thing because hotel was full. This is the second time we have had an issue with booking.com not sending the proper info to the hotel. Luckily we had confirmation numbers

Great position close to Broadway. Very comfortable room. Breakfast was very good.

We arrived just before 1. We were told that a room was available (we had a reservation payable on arrival) however if we wanted it before 4pm we would have to pay $35! We walked down to Broadway then came back for 4pm however we still had to wait until just after 4.30pm before we were given a key.

The location cannot be beat. So close to the Johnny Cash & Patsy Cline Museums, Country Music Hall of Fame & BROADWAY!!!! My boyfriend is from the Netherlands and we had not seen in each other in two years. We took a road trip from Jersey for live music. Huge thank you to Justin, Cam & Catherine for providing Southern charm, making our stay extra delightful... and making us feel special. Our room was spacious and beautiful. You could fit your whole crew in there. The free breakfast was so good that I didn't have room for bbq until hours later. The parking is not included but is the same price as other places nearby and allows self parking and in/out privileges (not that you will need to drive anywhere but in case you do). My first Hyatt stay and won't be my last.

I wish we could have stayed longer.

the hotel was located within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and was a great value for the price. staff was super friendly, the free breakfast was excellent and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. we would definitely stay here again!

the parking deck was a little hard to maneuver in a mid size truck (Tacoma), but overall ok.
