Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Athens, an IHG Hotel

The breakfast was good. The woman who greeted us at the door was incredibly friendly, and almost the entire staff was just as friendly. The beds were super comfy. All around it was a very good stay.

I wish that the pool was up and running, but I know that it was probably down for a reason. At one point we saw a cockroach in our room, but it was right after a rain so that is not their fault either.

staff is what makes that hotel the day and night shift ladies are awesome.

room was kinda gloomy dark older looking bathroom bit dirty but not bad. definitely sence the lingering of something haunted in diff areas I saw ... but iv been able to see this type stuff since I was 3 so jus the presence of a man very much so in rm 100 and upstairs 325 I wanted to switch to 100 cause I felt it immediately when entered tht hallway area. But other than that staffs what makes this hotel gd.

Clean FOOD

Stayed Monday .Tuesday and Thursday. But had to change to super 8 for Wednesday since they said they were overbooked that night. This is no way to treat a78 year old priority club member. One of the nights I was charged $109.00 and the next night I was charged $149.00. What a scam. Lewis tried to hide the cover up by taking a long timeto look up Thursdays resevation. Breakfast was good. The variety could have been better. The biscuits were very good.

Maybe have some bacon and regular scrambled eggs. The “cheese omelet” that the cheese was pretty much nonexistent was lacking. I also think for a disability accessible room maybe a walk-in shower would have been better. Although I did not require a walk-in some people with disabilities would.

Everything was very lovely. The breakfast was good.

the lady that was there putting the food out was very rude and she wouldn’t stop staring at my husband and I. I didn’t really appreciate that. Our key card stopped working so we had to ask to have our room opened.

Very clean, awesome environment.. Our hostest Erica was absolutely amazing. She was very friendly and helpful. Recognizing me from my previous stay 4 days earlier. Way to go Erica.

Was very nice. Great to finally have someone provide breakfast. Very nice they gave a rose to each lady for Mother’s Day

1. My credit card was charged twice for the room despite the bill being divided between myself and my room mate. When I approached the desk about the two charges. They said “oh we know”. We have already fixed it and you will get a refund in a couple of days. The staff should have either called my room or come to my room and informed me what happened instead of me finding out by checking my card on line. Bad business relations. Also the commode was stopped up

The bed was comfortable. I wanted to bring it home with me.. they had a pancake maker there .. the pancakes were very good..

They were remodeling the pool .. which we didn’t find out until after we paid for the room..

Clean and comfortable

the driveway into the hotel is on a curve and poorly lit. We arrived after dark and initially missed the turn into the hotel. I went up further and turned around and trying to find the driveway I almost caused an accident. Lighting at the entrance would have been extremely helpful.

Great location near restaurants and central part of Athens. Pleasant staff, quality breakfast, very comfortable beds!

Dated decor, loose floor tiles in bathroom and broken faucet on shower that didn’t allow for bathtub to be filled. Otherwise clean and comfortable, though.
