Best Western Plus Royal Mountain Inn & Suites

Breakfast included fresh waffles, eggs, sausage, coffee, yogurt, juice, cereal. Lots to choose from. We had our grandchildren take turns staying overnight with us, one at a time. The staff brought out hot chocolate for them on request, which our grandchildren had hoped for.

This is the second time we stayed at this particular hotel. The room and bed were great and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a room with a king bed and a couch. If I could add anything, it would be a closet to hang our clothes and an iron/ ironing board. But the room did have drawers and a place to set our suitcases.

Breakfast - I like honey in my coffee and the honey you had was so hard, I could not get it out of the packet. So it must have been pretty old. The scrambled eggs were OK. Gravy looked like it had been poured out of a can. Apple juice was good. Sausage is a little substandard. I did have an orange and a banana. Thank you. Location: 5 minutes from the place I had a business appointment. Motel: Seemed old. Y'all might consider a remodel. I did sleep pretty good and the mattress was a little soft.

This was a very nice, new looking facility. We had a king size bed with a pillow top mattress! Very comfortable. There was a separate bathroom and a couch. We were able to have our grandchildren stay with us one at a time on the couch. They loved the waffles and hot chocolate for breakfast. We liked the eggs and sausage. The staff was very friendly to us and our little grandkids.

We had been traveling a long ways and would have liked to use the laundry facility but it was out of order at the time.

The beds were comfortable and the location was close to our destination. The endless hot water is always exciting for a large family. The rooms were very clean and relaxing. The staff was really friendly and helpful doing their best to make sure we were comfortable.

We chose this location for the amenities since we were far from home with 4 kids. We were disappointed to learn the hot tub was broken, the pool was too cold, the WiFi kept going out as did the cable so we had a hard time watching tv or doing anything online in the evenings. Kids were looking forward to the hot breakfast normally served at hotels but instead got a bag with an apple, bar, water, and prepackaged pastry. That being said, we realize a recent storm took things out and Covid prevented the hot breakfast. It just would have been nice if these things were advertised online.

The jetted tub was amazing! My husband and I stayed here while being in town for a wedding and it was actually our anniversary and we enjoyed our weekend so so much! The price was amazing too! 220 for the whole weekend, I felt like it was a steal for how amazing our room was. The beds were like clouds.

Nice hotel with clean inviting rooms that actually smelled great , bathroom was clean with good water pressure for shower , and a great breakfast in morning of eggs , sausage, and biscuit with endless coffee or waffles . This is place to stay if your traveling, little more expensive then some of their competitors but you get what you pay for.
