Location was perfect. Our king room was a nice size and clean. Breakfast was nothing fancy, but we had no complaints. Check in and check out easy. We would definitely stay here again if ever in Clifton, Texas again.

The only thing that could have improved was access to their pool area which had a couple of patio tables and chairs. It was beautiful weather and the view from the back of the hotel was breathtaking. There was only a small bench to sit on because the pool area was locked down and several members of our family were staying at the motel for the wedding we were attending.

This is a family run business and is comparable to any holiday inn express or Candlewood suites. The complimentary breakfast in the morning which includes waffles, cereal, juice, coffee, bagels, pastries was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable, and we needed a few extra pillows and the staff was more than happy to accommodate. The room was very clean and quiet. if I am ever in the area again I will definitely be staying at this hotel. Only about a 30 minute drive from Waco and the small town of Clifton that it is in has some antique stores and some good restaurants. Also, the hotel is very close to a grocery store which has a variety of sandwiches, drinks and food.

Customer service was excellent! The manager was very helpful and kind. He let us into breakfast at the last minute, opened the pool for us a little early, and noticed that our cards demagnetized and brought us new ones without us asking. The place was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. It was the hottest day of the year and the ac worked great. We all slept fine. Kids loved breakfast! The texas waffles were a big hit.

There were lots of crickets but I understand being in the country that couldn't be helped.

We've stayed here several times, and everything has always been exceptional. The rooms are always clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff is always friendly. Breakfast is grab and go danish, but the offerings were fresh and tasty. The lobby decor is beautiful. We will stay here again.

There is nothing about the property that needs to be changed in any way. We highly recommend the facility to anyone visiting Bosque County. It's close to shopping, Hwy 6, and places to eat. You'll find nothing to complain about here.

We've stayed at the Velkommen several times and are always pleased with the facility and the staff. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and professional. There's a nice relaxing pool area to enjoy in the warmer weather. The sitting area in the lobby is nicely decorated and very inviting. They serve a nice hot breakfast, but also have cold selections to pick from as well.

Good location and friendly staff with quick check in. Whole place was clean and mostly comfortable.

Pillows were not great and there were only three on the king size bed, so when we wanted to sit up and watch TV, one of us only had one pillow at our back. Insufficient insulation between rooms and hallway. We could hear our neighbors talking in normal tone of voice and I was kept from falling asleep by people coming in and out of their rooms late,even though they werent being overly loud.

The hotel is well maintained and staff very cordial.

Age is affecting the hotel a bit, example, sink faucet leaked a bit around the handle. Just a new seal needed. Quite odd in our room, the toilet was placed extremely close to the sink area. The toilet paper dispenser was right over the toilet somewhat. Toilet was still very usable. Just a mistake in construction I'm guessing. Overall, a very good hotel.

This was a very clean and basic motel. The lobby was nicely decorated. Staff were friendly.

Breakfast had limited options and the gym room wasn’t air conditioned so not useful in the Texas summer. The room decor was pretty dated.

I wish the breakfast had been hot, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy. However it was better than no breakfast at all and there was some really delicious juice. The hotel had a really nice lobby, everything was very clean and it was located very close to the baseball tournament that we were in town for.

The inn was quite comfortable and seemed to meet all our needs. Especially for the price, it was top notch.

The only thing that seemed to be lacking was our Wi-Fi connection. During our 2-day stay, it never was strong enough that we could use it.
