Fairfield Inn & Suites Waco South

We stopped in Waco for the night on our way to Padre Island. The hotel met our expectations. The pool seemed a little small, so we did not use it. The hotel breakfast was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful at check in and check out. We left a stuffed animal behind and the hotel offers a shipping service to return items left behind (though it's a bit overpriced).

The area around the window seemed like it had maybe leaked before and the ceiling looked like it had been damaged and patched back. Nothing major, but it indicated a need for a bit of a remodel.

Am a Marriott rewards member, but had never stayed at a Fairfield Inn before, was pleasantly surprised. Front Desk clerk was very hospitable. Room was exceptionably clean and well appointed. Beds/pillows were just right. Tried breakfast before checking out, good choices.

Location maybe...not familiar with Waco, visiting my Niece who was there for school, so would have picked a different location if i had been there for my visit.

The breakfast was wonderful and the area and dining area was clean. The attendant was friendly and kept the food stocked. There were many items to choose from to eat. They had coffee, hot chocolate, and lemonade available at all times for all tenants convenience. The room was clean. There was a hair dryer which was great since I had forgotten mine! I enjoyed the complimentary bottles of lotion, shampoo, conditioner and bar soaps. The a/c worked great! The tv was good. Tables with lights and plugs on each side of the bed. Dark room. There were 2 adults and a child in my group and there were 3 sets of towels which is exactly what we needed! After traveling so long, I enjoyed the footstool for my tired legs and feet. All in all, for the price I paid for the room for king suite, it was worth it!!!

The unfriendliness of woman who checked me in she had no personality. Arrived at 2:40pm she would not check me in until 3pm!! However, there were 2 other couples came in right after me yet they got checked in! The bed was hard and creaky. The coffee pot was missing the basket to put the coffee in. The whole room was outdated but, clean. Yellow walls and Teal colored accent wall wasn't for me either.

our flight was delayed and we didn’t get in till midnight. the night man at the desk was soooo welcoming !!! he couldn’t have been any nicer to us. made sure we had a room on first floor for my uncle who has cancer. brought us waters and a map for the next day. he went above and beyond!!!

The beds, bedding and pillows were very comfortable. Their breakfast was pretty extensive, although I guess because of COVID, they only offered wrapped breakfast sandwiches, instead of scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, and sausages. All-in-all we had a comfortable stay.

It's nice that they have an indoor pool, but it was really too small for swimming. We saw a family with their kids splashing around in the pool, which is probably its only function.

Breakfast was good a little messy if you wanted a waffle, over all there was so much to choose from it was nice. The pool was nice, The rooms were clean and comfortable, Staff was very polite.

I didn't like that they don't clean the rooms during your stay. We didn't over use towels, but they were out of towels in pool area so had to use ones in room and then go to front desk if you want more. I think if rooms are cleaned each day this wouldn't have been a problem.

Amazing value. Modern and clean. Free parking. There is a big refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, shampoo and conditioner, body wash gel, make-up cleansing wipe, and soap. Complimentary breakfast was good.

Nothing. Exceptionally clean and seems to have been renovated recently. Can not complain at this price. All neighbours were quiet too.

We had to move rooms due to a bathroom light that burnt out. No maintenance was on site.

Great location, good breakfast and had fresh fruit, water and coffee in the lobby all the time.

There was coffee in my bathroom sink like someone dumped coffee and didn’t clean it. Needs more than one trash can in room. Elevator needs attention, cleaning and maintenance.

Staff very friendly, dropped off extra coffee due to no housekeeping during plague.

More coffee cups in rooms due to no housekeeping. No biggie but may help u in future
