Best Western Plus Seawall Inn & Suites by the Beach

After we complained because of a dog barking and very loud neighbours (no Pets allowed) we got a suite because there was no other room left. This dog was declared as a service dog...... but they are usually trained and do not bark.... Never the less, the manager solved this problem and the Hotel was good. The breakfast was good even when the sign in the lobby said it is a grab and go, it was a full hot breakfast with everything but fruits....

I love with multiple nights stay and they still came in and refreshed the room without requesting. Greeted with conversation and smile at breakfast was very refreshing. All the staff were very friendly. There was not a time that someone didn't greet us and when we returned from the night we were greeted with welcome back and hope you have a restful night. We will definitely stay again. I work in customer service and this is definitely the extreme service that we are constantly trained.

Parking in the back of the building was a little creepy. Lighting in the back of the building could be a little better.

Room was fine, and breakfast better than expected.

No handicapped parking spaces were available although the hotel listing says they have them and they do have a few. I got there at the designated check-in time and all handicapped parking spaces were already taken. There were so many cars in the full parking lot that I was told I might need to park somewhere else and take an Uber back to the hotel after I returned from the evening event I had come down to attend. Not what I wanted to do on a cold and rainy night. Eventually I was allowed to park in an area that was close to the entry but not in the entry drive.

Renee the front desk person was exceptional, 17 years experience and was a wealth of information. She really enjoys her position and does an excellent job. We were traveling with our daughter and three grandchildren and had both of our rooms upgraded. Breakfast was included and had a great selection. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Will definately stay here next time we visit Galveston.

Everything was Great.

This Best Western was very friendly, accommodating and very clean. The breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay here again when visiting. It’s close to Stewart Beach and just minutes from most attractions. The pool area was very nice and clean as well. We stayed in a wheelchair accessible room and there was plenty of room for my husband to move around and not feel enclosed. Shower/bath was nice too with handicap rails in all the right places.

The only thing if I were nit picking would be that our room was right next to the exercise room and we could hear the weights being let back down when exercising and sometimes it was very late at night. I wouldn’t not stay because I feel that it’s very minor to me.

The hotel was a bit older but was very clean. The room and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The lady that checked us in was so very sweet and helpful. We left our vehicle there for a week while on a cruise and it was safe which we very much appreciated. Super close to the Royal Caribbean cruise terminal.

It was an older hotel…not a place I would stay for an extended trip but would definitely stay again if going on a cruise.

Carl, welcomed my entire family to the hotel once he realized we were al staying together. He treated each of us exceptionally well. He made sure we were comfortable for our wedding. The room was wonderful and the hot tub was dynamic. The cleaning crew was awesome as well. The hotel was so clean and fresh. Everyone was friendly and welcoming the entire time. Carl encouraged us to come back every year for our anniversary and we will definitely do so! I can't say enough about the service we received here. Also, Carl's assistant was also very nice and helpful 👍. You have a customer for life on us!

I didn't like I couldn't stay longer at this hotel 😕 .

Well the staff was ok. The older short lady was very very nice. Said she had been there awhile. While the younger blonde hair girl was somewhat. Did not know American or not. The sink in 308 had little to no water pressure in sink. And ice machine cannot support load of hotel this time of year.There should be more than one.The other BW I stayed in had two. I repaired the toilet where the chain came off the handle. Chain is old. I had booked the wrong BW. I meant to go to the one on the other end of beach. Overall my stay was good. Could have been better.

It was a nice family mini vacation. Hotel was away from the busy parts of the island that was a plus. With covid on the rise again I was sceptical at going anywhere but once we arrived from the moment we walked in it felt safe and clean. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Would definitely go back!

The waffles were a little hard I think they had the timer set a little to long. There should have been sanatizer closer to the breakfast area there was a guy ahead of me that blew his nose and didnt even use any sanatizer after he was done and processed to finish fixing his food.
