That the beach was just within walking distance. All you had to do was cross the street, and you were at the beach. And Dennys was like, literally 50 feet away. They are open 24-7. There is one washer and dryer at the hotel for guests, and it's $2.50 to wash 1 load and $2.50 to dry your clothes. The dryer worked very well. The young lady at the front desk was nice and helpful. Actually, both of the ladies were friendly.

I just didn't like the shower head. It was not adjustable. When you would turn the water on. The water would hit the back of the tub. You could not adjust it closer to the front of the shower. And the pillows were super flat. Everything else was great !

Rooms were nice and were the beds

I was charged for 2 rooms instead one 1 room although they stated they did make a mistake and they were able to correct it within a few days Also there were no elevators and we were on the 3rd floor. Wouldn't have been too bad climbing the stairs but I had to walk with a cane and if I didn't have family there to help I'd never would've made it.

The beach was maybe 300 yards from our room

Absolutely fantastic location, right across the street from the beach and nearby food options, away from the busiest parts of seawall boulevard but not too far away in case you want to go that way. Staff was super friendly and super responsive to questions and issues raised regarding breakfast and a check-in question.

Furniture was clean, but had obvious damage. Shower head and bathtub faucet were poor quality and did not work fully. Dated fixtures in bathroom. Parking was a little difficult due to sharing parking space with the Denny's

The rooms floor has not been cleaned and you smell dog urine when you came into the room. I located the smell at the end of the bed corners. I clean the floor and I sprayed the corners with Lysol and then when outside to clean all the trash up around the hotel. You could tell you shorthanded on staff, but they never left their box behind the counter to check on things or clean something up I watch has they stepped right over it with a blind eye. The pool guy is the only one that I see cleaning and moving the furniture back around and yes, I had to swipe all the tables down from months of filth. Location Awesome I like the traffic light right in front to crossover to the beach and great restaurants right there. and a great view of the beach.

To have someone in charge of the cleaning that's the only down fall of this hotel. Staff is friendly but lazy.

Bed was comfy, overall clean room. Very quiet room. Walking distance to the beach. Room was nice

Room smelt like urine. There was a used bar of soap left in the tub. No shampoo was left, only 2 bottles of hand sanitizer. Breakfast didn’t have fresh fruit. So much railing taped off made the outside look rundown.

The staff was super kind.

Rooms are too small, including the size of the lobby for breakfast for the amount of guests. Bathroom was run down. The cost is ridiculous for the size, which tells me that all I was paying for was the location. Not a good enough reason to stay there again... there's too many other hotel choices in the same area to be uncomfortable. I give it a higher- end rating because of the staff.

My door would not work half of time the key wouldn't open door and you had to pull door handle while using key card and was in office every other day cause my card wouldn't work. Also I requested my room be cleaned because I did stay 5 days and housekeeping did come in made bed and swept but tub and toilet not and bathroom floor was dirty and reason I know cause the roach I killed was still there. We kept our trash dumped and also used the facilities broom to sweep our floors.

Room was immaculate, spacious, and very high-end looking. Probably one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in so far in Galveston without paying a fortune. We will definitely be back.

The outside/parking lot could have been cleaner. People litter everywhere and/or maybe the wind blows trash up. Needs to be kept up.
