Staybridge Suites Lubbock-University Area, an IHG Hotel

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Tiffany, we noticed a high level of friendliness and courteousness. The staff was absolutely wonderful for the entire week that we stayed. Each morning we were greeted with a warm and delicious breakfast. My compliments to the chef. Later in the week I ask a young man how the staff could be so happy, friendly and perfectly courteous. Did they have some sort of corporate training program for such niceties? Connor had only been there a couple of weeks and admitted that he did not know of any such training programs. A big thank you to the entire staff for making my stay pleasant and comfortable. Next time I'm in Lubbock, i hope to stay with you even longer.

Staybridge Suites exceeded my expectations. First let me say the staff was very nice and friendly. Front desk clerks i mostly interacted with Jen and Michael were exceptional! Incentives to staying here was the free breakfast and weekday happy hour. Leigha that works the kitchen is amazing!! I was so grateful to see her back there doing her thing to make sure guest were satisfied. Thanks for a comfortable stay.

Location was the best for our purposes of attending Red Raider orientation

Pull out sofa for our 19 year old 150lb son was cheesy. We ended up calling to swap it out and the one they brought was just as bad, so we piled it on top and he slept on both.

The room was nice and spacious. Bed was comfortable. The location is adjacent to Tech and TTU shopping.

The refrigerator still had food in it from previous guest. The couch had a ripped seam on the arm. The pool was unavailable for use .

Close proximity to Texas Tech. Prices weren't crazy high. Breakfast options are great. Rooms are spacious. Small in room kitchen is very convenient.

A.C. in the hallway on the 3rd floor seemed to be off / broken. The hallway was uncomfortably warm.

Location was excellent, size of room was great, breakfast had plenty of options (not just carbs), more importantly staff was friendly and very helpful.

Breakfast was very good both mornings. Hotel location was good, city construction not good. Our room was nice. We did not have service on to clean the room on Saturday. I was able to get clean at the front desk.

The room was spacious with a sitting area plus bedroom. The breakfast, included in the booking, was good, not just the typical begged pandemic type. Parking is easy.

We had gone to the other Starbridge on the south side, booked the room through Booking only to discover i had mistakenly book the property next to Tech. We had no option but to go to the other Starbridge, but were pleased by the outcome.

The front desk manager was amazing, I wish I had written her name down. She had the best attitude while dealing with new trainees and a lot of people checking in.

The beds are clean and comfortable. The room is clean and always has everything we need. Breakfast is good and plentiful.

Everything is really nice and good here.
