Hampton Inn and Suites Lufkin

location great - people great however two days later a pending charge higher than the invoice i was given on site and received in two emails was higher. When I called Chelsea said all Hilton/Hamptons charge a 15% Incidental fee which I had never known about or even was informed about was added. This charge whether or not I have Incidentals is Highway Robbery to me and it completely changes my attitude about the Hotel chain.

A ridiculously High Incidental fee whether you have incidentals or NOT. It is uncalled for and I am disappointed that Hotels do this at all/

The newly remodeled room/ lobby view from room. The staff was very friendly!! The man at the counter had great hair very friendly wonderful! Nice room water pressure was good covers medium weight. The bed was firm but we were so tired every night we went to sleep and slept well. I really liked how the room had a lot of places in room to hang towels purses etc and places to place luggage as well.

It’s hard to get out on Hwy a little bit you usually have to turn left on a four lane freeway. If traffic is heavy you may have to do a uturn . It’s not hotels fault just location would be nice if Lufkin had a light there.

The breakfast and the attendant were wonderful there. The reception desk people were very receptive and helpful. Our bed and pillows were so comfortable. Everything was so clean and fresh. The bathroom was large and extra seating and a roomy desk were wonderful. We had a great restful visit. Also, my husband got to watch the Dallas Cowboys downstairs on the big screen. He loved that.

That we had to leave. We had a great stay.

Very helpful got us more bedding for the pullout.The beds, new showers and everything was be remodeled but still very clean and comfortable.

The elevator IS very slow (Hopefully that will be the next new thing put in) Breakfast..... IM allergic to the strawberry yogurt... didn't care for the boiled eggs and bagel with cream cheese... plus no drink that I could see it may have been there and I didn't see it. I would have been happier if yall would have had the normal breakfast and yall fix our plates with your gloves and masks on or give us an option cereal and milk juice fruit and other pastries to choose from

The staff was super friendly and was able to get us early check in when we got to town. The rooms were very clean and the carpet in the rooms seemed new-which is a bonus. It was a little noisy being near the exit door to the stairs but I was so happy to get early check in that I just ignored it. Staff was clearly taking cleaning seriously. Everything looked and smelled clean.

One elevator was broken but we never had to wait too long for the other one.

Given the COVID restrictions and the Texas Snowpocolypse of 2021 (LOL) this place was excellent. We were without power and water at home and escaped to the warmth of the Hampton. So thankful they had rooms available. Staff was more than accommodating and even though they were in the middle of a remodel, it was still a wonderful stay.

That the washer and dryer services weren't available at this time. Understandable since the remodel was interrupted by extreme winter weather.

Beds were comfortable, very clean hotel

The bathroom in the lobby area didn't have soap or paper towels. Had to pay for a hot breakfast, also, the coffee had to be made each time we wanted some.

Clean with friendly staff.

In a cluster with 4 other hotels and there was no sign telling me that it was the Hampton. A little confusing.

The staff was friendly, the rooms were exceptionally clean. Pool was great after a long hot day of softball. I highly recommend
