The location and price
I arrived early. I was charged a 25 early check in fee. I was fine with this until I entered the room. I used the bathroom and the toilet flooded. They where not able to fix. I had too wait 2 plus hours in the lobby. By this point it was the regular check on time. I asked for the refund of the early check in fee a d I was denied. It was not u til I got frustrated that this was resolved. I was offered a Double room instead of a King room that I had paid for. I felt I should have been refunded the difference.

All employees were very friendly. Place was very clean. Seemed like the best hotel in the small town of Rockdale! They found my wedding band and are mailing it to me. Yesss!
I did not like how bad the cell reception was the moment you walked in the building. There was absolutely no service in the rooms. Had to go outside to make phone calls or send text messages. Also the WiFi signal in my room was not very strong at all.

The property was clean. The only negative things would be no hot breakfast and the phone service wasn’t great. Had to walk outside to use the phone. Overall the staff was nice only one lady was somewhat rude. They were having a shortage on clean towels but eventually made it happen. Will book again if needed.

The cellular service is really bad. Our phones don’t work unless we connect to the Wi-Fi or set our phones in the window seal. That’s the only con to staying here when we visit family in Rockdale

No breakfast just in bags due to Covid, disappointing that you couldn’t sit & enjoy a hot meal but overall stay was good.
Need more lighting in the bathroom, hard to put makeup on with so little light.

Beds were extremely comfortable. It was nice to have HOT water for my shower! Everything was very clean with the exception of the of the carpet. A/C worked great.
