Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Elgin, an IHG Hotel

Everything was so clean very good housecleaning rooms smelled so fresh and clean staff was very friendly and helpful mu stay was very relaxful and comfortable very updated full size shampoo and conditioner and body wash dim lights in the room made it feel so relaxing and the breakfast was an A+ everything was hot and fresh the swimming pool was very clean and blue this hotel will be my hotel when im in Elgin Texas 5 Star from me ❤

Breakfast was good. Wish they had bacon...lol Mattress was ok, could have been better. I had better when I stayed there before. (2017) Must be time to buy new ones.

Called a month before asking prices and was told they didn't have discounts. So I went thru bookings. Got there and was told I should have called and they would haven given discounts.. huh?

it was nice and staff were super friendly.

they were not pet friendly which could have been a real problem. we travel with our small dog and I could’ve sworn I verified pet friendly when I booked. they were nice and let him stay but charged us $100 non refundable fee. given we never leave the dog in the room unattended we felt this was a bit excessive. but it beat having to leave him in the car or seek a different motel.

Spacious room. Two double beds, enough for a family of four. Bathroom was also spacious. Some hotels have the toilet so close to the shower. The breakfast was great. The pancake machine was a hit with the kids. Front staff were super friendly. Excellent restaurant right next store (not affiliated with the hotel.)

Washing machine was broken on our floor. I didn't check the other floors.

Quiet facility with lots of parking and pleasant staff. location was easy to get. Close to fast food, supermarkets, and coffee shop which is nice when on a long trip and tired.

Carpet was a bit stained in some areas. HORRIBLE lighting in the bathroom - very difficult to do hair and makeup.

I like all of it. The room was cleaned every day. Could of used more toilet paper tho. Otherwise, I liked everything about it. This is my place to stay when I come to TX.

Overall, and excellent experience. The A/C was able to cool the room down, which is important, especially in Texas weather where 110 degrees can be common. Having places to hang stuff was useful. Wi-Fi was excellent, and not a costly extra. Overall, excellent.

Parking can be a bit tight.

Clean, quiet, Good breakfast choices.

We had to leave really early (before breakfast opened) the day we checked out. A "sack" pick-up breakfast would have been wonderful. The coffee was ready though and that got me to the airport in good shape.

Did not like how breakfast ends at 930 am and I went down at 9 to get food the lady was already putting the food up 30 mins before like really she just left all the wrapped foods out if breakfast ends at 930 you need to wait to everybody has come to get breakfast

appeared to have some water damage on the ceiling, but unknown how or when it happened.
