Baymont by Wyndham Texarkana

We rented a room on 10/23/22. The room was quiet, large and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Initially, we were in a room where the air conditioning was not working right. We called to tell the person working the desk, and she immediately took ownership and upgraded us to another suite, and escorted us herself, staying briefly to make sure everything was satisfactory. In short, she didn't treat us like customers, she treated us like guests in her home! Her warm professionalism and attention were very much appreciated. The air conditioning wasn't working properly, and the fire alarm was dangling by wires from the ceiling. Apparently we were given a room being worked on. The night clerk quickly found us accommodation in a larger suite, and personally made sure the room met our needs. We felt very cared for.

Dan, our host was without equal! House worked well for us to have small groups of children, grandchildren, greats or friends over. We played Farkle and puzzles around the kitchen table. The parking was terrific and the house received many compliments. Loved seeing the trees turn again too. We loved the location and variety of stores with Aldi's. Price Cutter's and Walmart.

The MBR mattress was ok for a week but we were there over 2 weeks. Wish we had realized there was no ensuite bath in the MBR but the 2 baths were nice.

Exceptional helpful and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable bed. Good variety for buffet breakfast. Will stay again!

Booking was very easy. Night front desk clerk was very accommodating. She checked and discovered the room I was originally booked in wasn't cleaned by housekeeping, so they upgraded me to a suite.

Mattress was too hard for my liking. Bathroom fixtures were a little worn from use over the years. Parking lot was cramped. This wasn't the hotel's fault, but the guests - several large trucks with trailers parked crossways taking up 3 and 4 spaces.

This is just a wonderful hotel, with extraordinarily nice staff! Cozy hotel rooms are conducive to relaxation!

Late at night, the fire alarm went off three times, it was a boat alarm, but I couldn’t get 100% sleep because of this, I’m sure that next time everything will be fine and 100%

Front desk was accommodating to my needs to be close to the front door and on first floor so I could walk my dogs. The entire stay was very quiet with no disruptions. The king bed was surprisingly very comfy for the stay.

The bathroom could have used a deep clean...mold in the corners of the shower. The hvac unit made a consistent loud noise. The carpet in the room could use a good vacuum and steamed cleaned.

for the price the hotel was fair. the cleanliness was not up to par. the rooms has dead bugs on the walls in the shower area and didn't smell the cleanest in comparison to other hotels I stayed at but overall for a one night stay it was okay.

The nice young lady that greeted us at check-in was delightful. I think she was the manager. She was friendly and helpful and always there with a greeting and a smile! What a wonderful representative you have there! :)

The air conditioner in our room was noisy.

Room was comfortable. A/C was easy to regulate. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Fitness center was out of service. A/C was very noisy. Staff was polite but not as friendly as before. Must be a new manager at the property.

The location was great. Close to food and other conveniences.

I had to repair the toilet seat that was about to fall off and I requested a handicap room for my 83 year old mother and did not get one.
