Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Texarkana, TX

The easy booking, great location. Price was excellent. The common rooms & the guest room were clean & well stocked. Each staff member I encountered was friendly, & seemed to enjoy being there. Nathan was especially helpful when I checked in late at night. The breakfast was awesome. They had 3 varieties of hot coffee, plus hot water , milk & juice. Several cold cereals & bagels. Hot oats, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, plus biscuits & gravy and a waffle maker. Also a variety of fresh fruits. I can't think of anything else I could ask for!

The room was very cold when I got in. , but the thermostat adjustment responded nicely.

When we checked in, the super sweet girl behind the desk told us not to miss breakfast. Nobody has ever told us that before, so we set an alarm. She was NOT lying, it was amazing! We felt safe, it was kind of off the main road. Parking was no issue and plenty of luggage carts available. Quiet and everyone was incredibly kind. Check out was easy. The pool was open late, but my daughter didn't want to do anymore water after our stay at the water park. Clean, no funky smells, didn't feel icky at all!

We thought it was odd that the windows on the 4th floor were able to be opened. If my child was a little older, that could have been a larger concern.

Check in and out was a breeze. Used booking.com. 4 ppl. $117 after taxes. 2 queen bed room. The front desk stated that the checkout was at noon but listed 11 online. Might of misspoke. Breakfast only till 9:30. Breakfast was a self-serve buffet, some but not all items included, scrambled eggs, sausage links, make your own waffles, biscuits, boiled eggs, and cereal but out of milk. Small indoor pool & jacuzzi was open until midnight. Nice outside sitting area off of pool. Our stay was right after X-mas, so the certified operator for pool chemicals must have been out because the jacuzzi had what looked like algae buildup. See posted pics. Had a nice outside sitting area for smokers. Room clean and extra storage. Heating and cooling operational. Had one small flat screen (non smart)TV. Bathroom clean only 2 bath towels for our booking of 4. I'm sure I could have called for more because the staff was very friendly and accommodating but our check-in was late. Had pizza delivered from Pizza Hut to room. A few restaurants around location such as steak houses & waffle house. Would recommend for short stay.

Jacuzzi needed chemical treatment.

Very pleased & surprised with this* Country Inn ; apparently had undergone recent renovation: Very nice room, large updated bathroom, 1st-class linens! Breakfast was very good with 'real' plates, and unexpected yogurt dessert. Just as marvelous was the STAFF: Greeted us (how cheery!) at every visit to the reception desk, and happy to assist; Stacy, Marie (breakfast!), and Melissa (night), were very sweet! -- Should we return to this area, we'll re-visit! *btw, better than one in Ft Worth we'd re-visited :)))

The room size was great for two parents with a pack-n-play. We made a special request to have a room with a tub to give our child a bath and halfway expected it to not happen but they paid attention and made sure we got a room with a tub. Breakfast was great every morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We came for a funeral and almost everyone who traveled, stayed here and all seemed to be impressed with the hotel for the price.

Not much. I guess if there were a few more of the bellhop trolleys that would be nice. We had a lot of things to bring back down and had to wait for a while until there was one available.

Clean rooms, great breakfast and friendly staff. Easy access and safe surroundings. 1. Rooms are clean, comfortable beds, nice decor and spacious. 2. Staff very helpful and friendly. Check in and out is quick. Also a pleasant greeting upon entering and leaving. 3. Breakfast was great. Waffles, biscuits and gravy, omelets, bacon, sausage, bagels, muffins, yogurt, parfaits, cereals, oatmeal, boil eggs, pastries, muffins, different breads and toppings. 4. Overall newer hotel, well lite parking and outside area. Convient to highway and gas station.

The sheets are dirty on the bed. The tub is dirty. The air conditioner is LOUD. I’ve seen so many reviews but none of them match the experience I’ve had at this place. The door doesn’t even lock. You can literally push it open. Sadly, I did not sleep at all. I wish I could get a refund. Oh & I gave a 10 star rating so the truth about this place is seen by someone who deserves better than this.

My lovely wife and I definitely agreed that of all the places we have stayed in our travels, this place had the best complimentary breakfast ever! This is the first place where potatoes was one of the breakfast options! They tasted great and I had them both mornings we were there! Overall, the food was fresh and tasted good! The staff were friendly and helpful! They made sure to keep the dining area clean!

We had staid at the location previously. Free cookies on arrival; coffee available 24/7; swimming pool, Business Center, hallways; all clean. Staff (with one exception) we’re happy to help, professional, and timely. We were short hangers; made a call to the desk, and desk person showed up with hangers within 5 minutes.

A “front desk” individual seemed aggravated that my spouse asked if there had been any change in availability for a room with features for handicap access. She made dismissive remarks that should have been left unsaid.

The hotel and room was clean. I always disinfect our room before we settle in. I used one of their white washcloths to wipe all the surfaces down with disinfectant and the cloth was white when I was done. I was very impressed. The people at the front desk, housekeeping and the lady in the kitchen was very friendly and accommodating. I definitely would stay there again and I also will recommend it. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Ice maker on our floor wasn't working. Not a deal breaker for us. All the other greats made up for it.
