Homewood Suites by Hilton Victoria

The room was big and confortable. The extra sofabed was ideal for us family of 5. Breakfast was very complete and everything looks new and nice.

Had to ask for someone to bring another towel (we made reservation for 5 and there were only 4, they could have anticipated) and there was no sheets and blnaket for the sofabed. We asked if they could make the bed, but they just left the sheets there. Oh and the table on the kitchen has no chairs.

The vibe is super cool. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was bright, uplifting, and good. Traveling tends to make me grouchy, but as soon as I stepped in the door, I felt better.... And the rest I got during my stay is invaluable.

As clean and inviting as it was, the carpets need to be replaced in the hallways. It's a beautiful hotel but I guess the carpets just haven't bounced back since Harvey.

Location was close to many things, reasonably priced for extra nice king suite. Lobby and room was clean,

Pool area was a little crowded. I did have a room that was in view of the pool and I witnessed a few cars (3) with 3-4 people just pull up and go straight to the pool area.

Friendly staff

So me and my family have stayed here a few times and always loved it! This time it was a good stay but had some problems with the room being cleaned properly. The pull out sofa bed had old sheets on it from the previous person with nasty stains on it. There was a dirty, empty dr.pepper can under the bedroom air conditioner, the sheets on the bed were not even folded the correct way, the dressers and end tables had stains on them and were obviously not cleaned, and the toilet had urine stains on the cover.

Breakfast was ok, mostly coffee drinker and not too much in way of coffee accompaniments like creamers, sugar alternatives, etc. I made do in my room though. Would also have liked more in way of fresh fruits to go.

Front desk did not have packaged laundry detergent for purchase and charged $4 for 2 Tide pods. Quite the mark up!

The staff were exceptionally nice. The room was great. We like the bedroom being separate from the living area. We always seek hotels with suites.

The rooms were huge! Plenty of space for my family at a good price. The room smelled so good and clean. My kids enjoyed the waffles shaped like Texas!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Upon entering the room, there was leftover trash under the kitchen sink with gnats flying around. I'm assuming it must've been from the previous customer.
