Ponderosa Inn0

It's a fantastic place! It's named an "Inn", but in reality it's a luxury lodge! The emphasis is on luxury. There is no service desk, you get a check-in code and just leave at the end, but since everything is perfect, and luxurious (that word again!), you would not need the service desk, anyway! If you really need help, you can call them, and I'm sure they would show up, but did not have the need. Regarding the spaciousness: there is an 8-feet tall taxidermy bear decoration in the main room, which we did not notice for hours. That's how spacious it is! Grand Staircase Escalante is 20 minutes, Bryce is 50 minutes, Petrified forest is almost walking distance. Perfect location!

Such a cute little hotel. Lot's of personal touches and thoughtful additions from free snacks and water to bbq's and supplies free to use. Also she had free styrofoam coolers people could take along with generous drawstring ice bags. So many cute personal touches that truly made our stay exceptionally pleasant. In fact, we stayed here twice in the same trip!

The lighting was a little dim at night. There were bedside lamps, but the over the bed chandelier was too high up on a vaulted ceiling to really give enough light in the room if you were trying to anything detailed like reading a map.

This property is a gem! The owner put considerable thought into providing for every need. The decor was so unique. We stayed in room 1-Little Joe’s Bunkhouse-decorated to match it’s name with a rustic touch but all modern conveniences. We only stayed one night because of our schedule but could easily stay a week. I can’t say enough about this place!!! Self check-in so didn’t meet the owner but she has her number available, if needed. Made check-in so easy.

I can’t think of a single thing this lady forgot-so much attention to detail and comfort for her guests.

Couple things, the staff is AWESOME! It’s self check-in but they are in contact with you via text the entire time. I left a jacket in the room and they were so nice and actually went out of their way to ship it back to me. The location is also great! It’s very close to the only bar in town and also close to the best place for pizza. And it’s honestly some of the best pizza I have had anywhere.

We had an amazing (albeit) short stay at Ponderosa Inn. We stayed in the family suite - my parents (70s), myself (50's) and my daughter (8). The Family Suite was huge. We used the kitchen to cook breakfast. My daughter loved the bunk beds. The jacuzzi bathtub with lavender espon salts was a great way to unwind after a full day of hiking and driving. We will be back in different seasons. Natalie was so hospital and helped us with all our questions before we arrived and checked in to make sure our stay was going well. Exceptional hospitality.

Beautiful room with high ceiling, and a charming decor. Excellent fast wifi. Excellent shower. Even though there was no microwave oven in the room, there was one in the common room which is plenty enough. Inn is not right on main street, so it is less noisy than most motel.

Nothing much. If I want to be picky, my room was next to the front door. And people are not very thoughtful. If you hold it, the door does not make noise. But people tend to let it close on its own. However, since there are not many guests in the Inn, this was not a problem

It has been some time since we stayed at a motel/hotel where the persons in charge put together many things that are fun, important, well - done etc --for their customers. From check in to check out we enjoyed the ambiance of our room and how it was decorated, the ease of entry and departure--it was an easy and fun environment

A latch on the bathroom door needs to be replaced but we could still close the door

The room and property were very clean and well maintained. Owner added many welcoming touches such as real coffee mugs and real ground coffee for the coffee maker. It was nice to have the small table and 2 chairs to sit and eat or drink coffee. Plenty of ice was available for our use. A microwave was available also. Sink in the bathroom was unique and fun.

The room was a little small so there was not much room for luggage and stuff. But for one night it was fine.

The room was adorable! Loved the wooden sink in the bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Although no staff on site, Natalie stayed in touch by text which was helpful.

Off the main road so not easy to find. A sign on Main Street would help, as well as parking signs in front. Cost more than I'm used to paying, but the decor took some of that sting out.

The room was very comfortable and clean. We really loved the shower which has a nice water pressure. We did have a microwave, coffee machine and fridge in our room which was great! All in all we can recommend this hotel. Natalie was just awesome in terms of help :)
