MainStay Suites Moab near Arches National Park

The property was clean and comfy- rooms were nice. Breakfast was excellent and was well tended to ensure availability of the food items. Availability of shopping and restaurants was very good.

The staff could have been a little more accomodating- when we asked questions it always seemed like we were bothering them. We did not have this anywhere else during our trip. Usually met with a welcome and a smile. The property was in a very congested area on a busy road. This made travel in/out of the property a bit tricky. If I would have known I would have picked a hotel closer to the edge of town with less congestion. Secondly the property was a bit pricey- I should have done a better job of shopping for better value. Lastly- just a matter of opinion- the room was poorly laid out in that the TV was not visible from the bed. I kind of enjoy relaxing with a little TV before going to sleep but it was not possible.

I loved the extra homey, family friendly touches, like full kitchens in all the rooms, the cabinet in the front lobby with rice cooker, games, etc. and the breakfast with lots of options! I loved that there were big squeeze bottles for the shampoo and conditioner instead of the tiny sample sizes, though unfortunately not all of ours were filled. The beds were more comfy than I expected for a 2 star hotel! I was very pleasantly surprised.

There were not very many pillows and they were pretty low quality, flimsy pillows. I know it’s common since COVID but not having housekeeping every day is a big bummer. We generally stay in Airbnb s but when we do stay in hotels one of the nicest parts is not having to worry about taking trash out, changing out towels, etc. We had to deal with that stuff because of there not being housekeeping during our stay which was a little lame. Overall though it was much better than I was anticipating! We’d stay there again!

The breakfast exceeded our expectations for a hotel breakfast. It wasn’t gourmet, but hey, sausage patties and scrambled eggs on day one, all you can eat bacon and cheese omelettes on day two, and sausage links and eggs on day three. All of this was accompanied by bagels, biscuits with gravy, Danish, and the usual offerings. I can’t imagine anyone complaining considering it’s not a restaurant. My wife is very particular and she was even slightly impressed. We both workout, are very fit, and usually don’t hesitate to overly spend on a breakfast splurge of calories when on vacation, but their offerings were as good as many restaurants in these tourist areas. I thank the Mainstay for their exceptional efforts.

I can’t think of anything. My wife is a fussy housekeeper. I have offered so many times to get her help with the house cleaning but she always finds an excuse to refuse, but she even commented how clean the property was and well maintained. This is also exceptional when considering how dusty it is in Moab and what with the tourists tracking back dust and dirt from the Arches Park. We have stayed in four star hotels in Paris and this one would easily be a five star one if it was there.

big room with a nice fridge. the room was clean except for the sofa bed. yes we use sheets but the mattress itself had crumbs left on it. we notified the property it would be a late check in past midnight. it was actually closer to 3 am and we had to wait a while to have someone come to the front desk. the staff was super friendly but having to wait when we were already exhausted was annoying. there could have been a bell or something so we could have gotten checked in sooner. breakfast was nice - hot and a lot of options

Spacious room with kitchenette, dining table and couch. Clean! Hot breakfast and friendly staff. At checkout front desk staff asked which way we were planning to travel and informed us of a road closure due to snow. Ultimately, we decided to stay another night and they gave us their best deal. Grateful that the front desk informed us as this closure was not shown on Google maps. We also called a gas station and hotel in the closed area and they confirmed the road closure. Thank you MainStay Suites staff!

We spent a wonderful time at the hotel. The facilities like the pool, jacuzzi, fitness room are very enjoyable. Breakfast was amazing. From the 5 of us, Very special THANKS to Gaven at the reception that helped us so much during our stay : He prepared a breakfast to go when we left before Breakfast time, answered and helped us the best he could for every single question we had, while being super kind at each and every moment. Our stay at Moab without Gaven's help wouldn't have been the same for sure ! Without forgetting his free cookies that were awesome ! Once again, thank you so much Gaven !

Room was clean and the property was quiet - either our neighbors werent there, or the rooms were built really well, because we never heard a word from anyone else in the building than us.

The breakfast was pretty MEH. Nothing less than what you would expect from a hotel continental, but all the same, if you are looking to save money because of free breakfast, unless you are trying to feed a family of 5+, it may be worth while to eat somewhere else.

Breakfast was great. Always had hot coffee ready even during the day. Everything was just great.

The room was clean and very spacious. Breakfast was really good. I liked that there was a decaf coffee available all day. I like to have a cup in the afternoon and this place had fresh coffee in the breakfast bar area.

Only thing that we didn't like was the access to the hotel. Really hard to make a left turn to go into main street area especially because there were semis parked right next to the entrance blocking the view. Other than that it is a really great place to stay.

The room was very large, with a kitchenette, table and couch. It would accommodate a family easily. It was well equipped with dishes, silverware, paper towels, dish detergent, etc. There even was a mini-dishwasher. There was plenty of hot water and the room was very clean. I appreciated that coffee and tea were available in the breakfast area 24/7. Free WiFi was helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to downtown restaurants.

The only downside was that sometimes you could smell food odors in the hallway, and the smells would seep into my room. That only happened one night, and was excusable since rooms had kitchenettes.
