Rustic Inn

Rustic Inn is a perfect motel. I was upgraded to a double room (second floor), which has a kitchen compartment equipped with basic utensils/dishes. The room is spacious, has a desk and a closet with stool for a suitcase. Good for week-long stays. Bed is comfy with more than enough pillows. Nothing is new, but clean and not worn out. The air conditioner keeps the room pleasant even when outside the temperature is 100 Fahrenheit. Parking is in front of the units. No breakfast is served on weekdays, but coffee and tee are continuously available at the reception. On Saturdays and Sundays good donuts are served. Location is good, just behind the Best Western on the main street. Groceries are within three blocks. From the first floor red hillsides can be seen. The pool quite large, even for swimming and is very pleasant on hot days. Bathrobes can be picked up at the pool entrance. Marty was very nice at the reception; he advised me to go to Arches N.P. early morning. The entrance to Arches is a 10-minute drive and there is no line at 6:30 am (the crowd arrives after 7 am, all rushing to Delicate Arch, completely filling up the parking lot from about 8 am till 9:20).

The air conditioner is noisy, and the fridge in my room was just as noisy (should have turned it off); the noise did not disturb me on the second night (hiking all day long).

Linda Megan Mandy and Marty were incredible they ensured my stay in Moab and at The Rustic Inn was safe and full of amazing experiences. No matter what my needs they would solve any issue for me. The location of The Rustic Inn is fabulous as only a 5 minute walk to Main St and so quiet compared to other accommodations on the main highway. The pool area is so refreshing after a long day walking/hiking through the Arches and Canyonlands. I stayed in Room 124 ground floor - avoided stairs with all my luggage. 2 huge comfortable beds kitchen area well stocked. Thank you so much for such a memorable journey. Linda Sydney Australia

Another curtain layer to ensure more privacy

This Inn was in a perfect walking location to everything except the parks. The room was so comfortable! The mattresses, linens, and carpet appeared to be new. It was quiet, being the motel is a block off the main road. It far exceeded my expectations. The staff was so friendly and knowledgable. There was coffee in the office available every morning, and coffee makers and tea kettles were in each room. A bonus on Saturday and Sunday mornings -donuts are served in the office. The pool was clean and refreshing. They had a laundry room and soap was available in the office for a small fee. The rooms look just like the photos on the website.

Nothing! I would definitely stay here again.

Conveniently positioned in the middle of Moab, a short walk from most shops and restaurants, but far enough from the main road to be extremely quiet as well. Nice small pool with limited seating area, a small laundry which came in handy, BBQs and some tables to eat... not to mention complimentary coffee and donuts on weekends. At my fifth visit in Moab I've found my favorite place iwhere to stay in town. Last but not least Marty has been an amazing host.

Good location. Comfortable and clean rooms. From the outside it may look like an older motel, but the interiors seem recently refurbished. Adequate parking. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. We stayed for only one night, but this would be a good option for anyone looking to stay for a few days. Reasonably priced. Will most probably stay here again when we visit Moab again. Recommended.

Didn't affect us, but the reception only stays open till 10:30pm.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Though decor was a bit funky (curtain over closet) -- it was all good. We didn't mind having just one sink in the kitchen area at all. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location can't be beat -- far enough off the road you don't get too much noise -- and the west-facing wall is all brick -- no windows. This helps keep the heat down and makes it quieter. I never understood why reviews had raved about the full-size fridge, but if you're travelling with a cooler, it allows for cooling all your food & refreezing ice. This is a fantastic place with very few drawbacks at a very reasonable price.

As some mention, the A/C and fridge can be a bit loud.

The Rustic Inn fit my needs perfectly. I was there for a quick 2 day get away. The location was centrally located so that I could walk to a wide selection of restaurants. The room was cozy and spotless. There were toiletries provided along with plenty of towels,wash cloths and hand towels. There was a basket full of menu guides, maps, and pamphlets to orient you with Moab. WIFI was fast and consistent. I haven't been to Moab for 20 years, and was happy to be at the Rustic Inn as opposed to all the big name chain hotels that have sprung up.

The room was extra large and it had a kitchenette that doubled as a bathroom.basin. Kinda odd to have the splashback as a mirror but it didn't bother us. Happy to say that the turn around time to fix our microwave was quick.

The evening front desk person (who was possibly the owner) was a bit short/grumpy when we checked in - we had no reception in the Canyonlands and was unable to return a call/email regarding our credit card. Ah well. I simply recommend a softer approach to the situation. Not a school teacher lecture.

Excellent location. Very friendly front desk staff. Room was a good size and beds were comfortable. Shower had good pressure and water was hot right away. Cold outside but nice and cozy inside. Outlets and USB plug locations near the bed. Definitely will stay here again next time we are in town.

Couldn’t tell what was in “kitchenette” from listing (it’s a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sink, plates, mugs, & glasses, and utensils). There is not a separate sink for the bathroom. No big deal, just didn’t know what to expect.

Rustic Inn is in great location- a block away from the Main Street so can’t hear traffic noise. The room was large with mini kitchen and very clean. Outside they have a nice private pool and sitting area to relax or enjoy your coffee. Very close to Arches national park and Canyon land. Very artistic area, the plants at the property are just gorgeous.

No free breakfast but there’s so much restaurants around.
