The cleanliness was great! The staff was polite and helpful. Views are nice. Pool looked nice, but is was closed when we were planning on using it.

The couch and chairs in the living room area were chic but not very comfortable. Most hotels have pump bodycare products and yet this hotel Still is on the travel size, which is wasteful. The water was very hard, and for being a high end hotel that was surprising. There were no robes only towels, again something I’d expect a high end place to have. There didn’t seem to be an ice machine anywhere, so you have to go to the front desk each time, it wasn’t a bad experience but I expected more!

The size of the room was amazing! A fully stocked kitchen and room for everyone to move around. There was an amazing game room which kept the kids busy and fun for the whole family. The pool and workout room were also nice!

The restaraunt was SO expensive and the food was not good. We ate out every day after our first experience. The hotel is understaffed so that was a challenge at times. There needs to be more umbrellas outside by the pool for shade. You can’t get food or drinks by the pool, but you can bring your own. The hotel is still under construction and it is quite an eyesore. Once they finish the hotel and are more experienced I think it will be great.

These property has so much potential - tons of fantastic amenities, staff is so nice, and the food onsite at the restaurant is amazing. You could easily have a stay cation at one property and this is the one.

You can tell the construction is rushed. Hallway floors had bumps and carpet up, our window still have some Tyvek paper on it for the “Mountain View”, the lighting above the mirror in the bathroom was not centered, our room number outside was not straight, and the temperature handle in the shower was not straight/at an angle and the cold/hot was opposite. It’s a beautiful property, but so rushed and can tell no care was put into the little details.

We loved the room and the front desk even let us check in a little bit early. The view was so so beautiful ♡ the game room was super cool and the pool. The tvs had streaming apps available. Our little getaway was amazing. The coffee in the rooms was great! Starbucks was also a great extra. The restaurant was so delicious, a bit pricey for what im used to but delicious. We enjoyed the black rock burgers, the pizza, the salmon. The waitress was super sweet and genuine.The pool table in the game room was awesome and the air hockey and ping pong tables. My family had a blast.10/10, we would love to stay again when we are in Park City. The lake was so close as well. Black Rock Mountain Resort is a perfect spot! Also has a cool gym my teenager enjoyed. There's a sauna too.

The only bit of a bummer was the arcade room. The coin machine wasn't working when we went. We got a few coins out, and then the machine went down.

The resort was clean and beautiful from the lobby to the room. The amenities were enough to keep my family entertained for our one night stay. The game room has ping pong tables, pool tables, a shuffleboard, air hockey and multiple TVs (with a PS4 and games available) and plenty of comfortable seating. There is also an arcade on the same floor with a nice selection of older games. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub, a spa and a sauna. You can tell some of the game tables/equipment have seen better days and it would have been nice if the amenities stayed open beyond 10pm (we stayed on a Monday night). We didn’t get a chance to try the onsite bar or restaurant but took advantage of the coffee served in the little market in the lobby. The only downside is the location with construction going on next to it, but when that is finished it will be even better. Service was great and welcoming - the front desk was helpful with all of our questions. Can’t wait to bring family back to enjoy Black Rock.

Place was amazing. I am a clean freak. Like OCD clean freak and our room met those expectations. From the lobby - check in to the room and the hotel amenities/facilities. If you come off season you can get crazy deals to stay here. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.

I didn't like that we only stayed one night and didn't stay longer. This place actually ruined the rest of our Utah trip because it set the bar way too high. The rest of our lodging elsewhere was not as clean and nice.

The location is not right in Park City, but that is part of the charm. Being a bit removed makes it easier to move around to various places to hike, which is why we were there. We also did not have to deal with parking issues or nightlife. Very peaceful and great views.

The one thing I will mention is we were never quite sure what the housekeeping staff did to clean the rooms. They swapped out towels and did a few things while we were out, but it did not feel like a regular hotel room clean.

the property is beautiful the moment you walk in. even before we entered the lobby the service was stellar. We called for extra coffee and laundry soap and they brought what we needed right to us….the service was amazing and the apartment was beautiful and very spacious. our unit had a washer dryer that came in very handy. my entire family loved Black Rock. We didn’t have time to enjoy all the amenities as we stayed just one night. I also loved the bedroom with two queen beds for my adult sons.

the food is a bit pricey but was very good.

Location. Space and floor plan. Has everything you need.

Limited hot water for showers. With a family of 5 that makes it difficult to get everyone ready for the day. We did not have that problem last year when we stayed. In the doorway to both rooms there is a tack strip where the carpet meets the tile and the nails come through the carpet, so walking barefoot we stepped on the nails a few times and that is an issue with kids. Parking can be limited.

Black Rock was beautiful inside and out! It was just 12 minutes outside of Park City. It was surrounded by hills with lots of trees around the property which made it feel remote. The lobby had multiple huge gas fireplaces that made it feel very cozy and inviting. Every space was very clean and modern. The staff at check in were very friendly and helpful. The bartender was also very friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I appreciate that the hotel is also dog friendly!
