I liked the location, pleasant and very clean rooms. The owner/manager was accommodating. The breakfast room was pleasant and comfortable to get coffee. Probably perfect for winter. The view from the room was nice! The pool and sauna was also very enjoyable.

The layout of the bathroom was very inconvenient, there was no room to place the toiletries, those had to be left outside of the bathroom. The refrigerator was so small that barely had a room for one small takeout container. There was no air conditioning in the breakfast room and it got rather warm in early September. I liked being on the second floor but it would be more convenient if there was an elevator if you had luggage.

We were passing through & need a quick place to stay, we arrived just after 9pm, we were tired, they offered to open the hot tub for about 30 mins for us. That was the icing on the cake. It was very clean & comfortable. Loved that they are keeping the retro feel of the building but doing a nice update of it. Beds were very clean & comfy, room was phenomenal. would absolutely stay again on a planned trip.

They do not offer a breakfast but they do have coffee available. For food thought there was a wonderful diner directly across the street that was as equally good.

Clean and comfortable, great location. The pool is really nice, there is a lovely stream in back that you can see and hear from the rooms, and go and sit by for a relaxing moment. There are several restaurants in walking distance, and all of Manchester Center 5 minutes away.

Nothing. It’s not the Equinox, the furnishings are spartan- almost a 60s feel- which we liked.

The bed was fabulous! The room was large and very clean. Because this is an older motel and all romms face the back there was virtually no road noise! The view out of the window was beautiful.

There was a strange odor in the room. My daughter had a room down the hall and het room had no smell at all. Running the AC did disperse it some.

While this is an older property, i found it very comfortable . The room was spacious with a refrigerator. Accommodating friendly staff. Very peaceful. Beautiful backyard, with lovely brook and sitting area. Bed was comfortable, but mattress may be too firm for some. Good diner right across the street, & many other good food options nearby. Nice, clean pool.

I needed to be sure to pull the door closed firmly when leaving to be sure it locked properly.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay there! Huge rooms, really comfy beds with an awesome view into the woods. The backyard provides enough place to enjoy the sun, either directly at the river or a bit more above. The hottub was the cherry on top and made the stay perfect! The location is also very nice: 5' from manchester center and 5' from the nearest hike - perfect! Would love to stay there again

Everything was wonderful - spotless, spacious room with view towards the creek, comfortable king bed, water and snacks in the room, cozy lounge area and well-stocked coffee bar. And next to the requisite Gideon’s Bible in the desk drawer was a copy of Eckart Tolle’s The Power of Now.

Our second-floor King room was very spacious and very comfortably furnished...really important for a longer stay! Cathedral ceiling on second floor a huge plus. Style is homey. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of storage, plenty of space to dine or play a game in the room, beautiful view of an exceptional garden and brook. We didn’t use the hot tub or pool (a bit chilly when we were there) but they looked lovely and clean. Staff very responsive to requests for more coffee, towels, etc.—be sure to ask. Easy to find, easy parking, close to Rt. 7 exit, outlets, town center, easy drive to horse events, 15 min. to excellent Dorset summer theater.

For a longer stay, we’ll probably bring our Keurig, for fancier coffee brands, but that’s true most places we go. If you want clean, pleasant, comfortable, functional, convenient (and you don’t prioritize fashion decor), Toll House is terrific.

Rooms were very spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. Facilities were great and grounds very beautiful (flowers, brook, etc.). My only wish was that it had breakfast in the mornings but other than that it was exceptional.

Wish that it had breakfast onsite.

Mike at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is a bit dated but in a fun way. Very clean large rooms. Rooms are very large

The price was a bit high in my opinion. Since the hotel is dated and did not include breakfast I think over $200.00 per night is expensive. A little updating will help.
