Grey Fox Inn

We arrived on a rainy day. I'd forgotten they had an indoor pool. The pool was very nice, as was the hot tub and the sauna! The rooms are large and the beds are clean and comfy. There is a small coffee pod maker in the room, a microwave and mini fridge that has a small freezer. I highly recommend this hotel.

It's more about Stowe than anything. Getting food is more complicated than in a city. Things close earlier and delivery is more limited. Just plan ahead about food and you will be fine.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room was clean. The location was convenient and plenty of parking was available. A microwave, fridge & coffee maker were available. We only interacted with the one staff member at checkin, but she was friendly and welcoming. Appreciated the boot tray for wet shoes/umbrellas. Shower pressure was good.

I thought this hotel was overpriced for what it was, on a weekday, but found that to be the case for the majority of the properties available in this area. Only one key card was offered at checkin, which I thought was odd, but wasn’t the end of the world. We did have some small flying insects in our room & in the shower. Our unit was on the lower level of the second building & the stairs were a little steep when carrying luggage (no elevator noticed). We could hear every footstep of the people in the room above us. The indoor pool was closed as the heater wasn’t working. I thought there was a missed opportunity for a firepit on the patio. A S’mores happy hour or kit would have been fun!

The room was lovely with a great view but there were no staff to help with my luggage and I had to ask another guest staying there. Also there was no food available even though the ad said there was a restaurant at the site. There was but shortage of staff apparently caused it to be closed. The pool was great; clean and good temperature.

No help with luggage, restaurant should be open and the cleaning people would not come in my room to clean and make bed and put clean towels in bathroom. I was told that only got done after I check out. I wish I was informed of these rule prior to arriving. Getting into and out of the hot tub was very difficult and felt very unsafe on the ladder.

The hotel is located on the mountain road in Stowe and the bike/recreational path is easily accessible as are breakfast places, restaurants, etc. The pools/hot tub were clean and the right temperature. Everything was just a little better than I was expecting.

The ice machine wasn't working, but the person at the desk went to the restaurant to get us ice. So thanks for that.

Our king suite with fireplace was well equipped and spotless. The electric fireplace put out enough heat to keep the room comfortable. The shower held its pressure and temperature. Plenty of room in both the bedroom and the sitting room. Each room had a large enough TV.

The location is out of the 'main' strip of Stowe so walking to restaurants is out making having a car a must. The sofa bed couch is a bit flimsy in construction but otherwise the room was excellent.

This place was clean and updated. The grounds were clean. The indoor pool was immaculate.. The rooms were updated and amazing. This trip was last minute due to a death in the family and this place was so cute. The kids had a blast in the pool and even loved to room. Everything looked new. The beds were like sleeping on clouds. They were so comfortable. We can’t wait to go back.

Has been renovated since the last time we stayed here. indoor pool and fitness room

was unhappy that we were given an upgrade in room without being notified before arrival. Room we got I didn’t consider an upgrade. manager explained there was property damage and they had to move people around to accommodate.

The 2 bedroom condo with fireplace was amazing. We fell in love with Stowe and the inn was a contributing factor. The food in the restaurant was limited and not as good as we had hoped. Overpriced for such a limited menu. The bar was nice and bar staff were exceptionally welcoming. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant could have had a little bit more of a variety on the menu. We were disappointed that we were not able to use any of the amenities, but only because of a cold and rainy weekend.

Location is great - very near the Recreation path for biking. Rooms were clean and very spacious. There were also a lot of facilities including the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and etc.

Could improve the response time of the staff especially when contacting via this application. Also could improve the facilities of the gym - most equipment were not working.

Excellent! Darnell greeted us with "hello, beautiful people" when he came to take our order. I appreciate that a non-dairy/vegan option was on the breakfast and lunch menus. Eric and Darnell behind the bar made my night when I asked for a chocolate martini. They whipped up a special martini drink just for me and it was SO GOOD. This place is perfect since it has the two pools, a gym, and plenty of things to do nearby.

Our bathroom could've been a little cleaner but it wasn't the end of the world. Had to pick up a few hairs that were on the floor when we arrived. It happens.
