Our room was so nice! Stone fireplace, wood floors, nice bathroom. Wife describes as rustic and sweet. Bed was high up off the floor and there are wooden step stools to aid in climbing into bed. Mattress was comfortable. Breakfast is delivered to your door in a picnic basket. We had a waffle with syrup, fruit and butter, yogurt with granola and orange juice. My wife thought it was cute that the OJ was served in a mason jar. Nice quiet location.
The description on the website of hearing the pool fountain from the balcony is misleading as the balcony offers a view of the rooftop of the structure below and all you can hear is the A/C unit. Maybe you can hear the fountain in the winter time? But the coziness and comfort of the room makes up for the balcony.

The staff could not be kinder and the location is terrific, right in the heart of the Historic District. The breakfast was very good; we especially liked the bacon & eggs. They have a nice patio in back for warm weather seating. It was quiet, despite being pretty fully occupied. The period furnishings are a nice touch. Another nice thing was having a front door code instead of a key, and instead of having to ring a bell at night for entry.
I would recommend better orange juice. Also, we were on the very top floor and the water pressure and hot water delivery were both weak. I don't know if this is always a problem, or just on the weekend we were there.
