Courtyard by Marriott Seattle Everett Downtown

Food available in dining area, staff is very helpful and very friendly (even cleaning staff smiles at you). The older African American gentleman who checked me in was very kind and pleasant. He was very professional and speaks with a calming and professional voice. His appearance was very respectable. This single interaction when checking in set the tone for my stay. I was pleased and felt like he personally took the quality of the hotel up a notch. He’s someone I would imagine working at a 5 star hotel and I felt like I was at a 5 star hotel. I can’t tell you enough how much better this stay was than the last stay I had this time last year.

The nooks and crannies of the room were not cleaned regularly. I had to look for something in my room that I lost and the floor between the bed and night stands were not cleaned. No robes provided. Mattress has indentations where you sleep from lots of use and should be replaced.

Staff was amazing.

I don’t like that it was right next to the police department and courthouse. Lots of homeless people around when we were checking in. Glad my husband and son was with me. If I were traveling alone I would not feel safe. I also didn’t like the restaurant does not stay open late. Even with their listers operating hours they were still closed earlier than listed.

Room was perfect with everything we needed: very comfy bed with small ref, microwave, complimentary coffee and a comfy sofa to watch TV. Bathroom was spacious and clean. We loved it.

Although we just needed a room for the night, we were given a room on the 3rd floor that has no view and the price we paid was too much. It was on a Saturday so I guess that’s the price you pay on weekends.

It was clean and quiet. Even with the people next door who had children running up and down the hallways, we couldn't hear it once we were in our room. Downtown Everett is also very quiet and not so many people making noise outside, that's always a plus!

We got in at nighttime and it was hard to find somewhere to park so that we could check-in.

Close to event we were attending, very clean, safety measures were excellent, staff was friendly and helpful.

Pillows were all very flat, like them to have more options since there were 4 on our king bed.

Clean comfortable room. Nice bathroom.

Parking is paid garage parking which is fine but there's nowhere to park while you check in and pay for your garage parking. If you book on booking.com you can't use the hotel app to check in

We were not aware that our room would not be tended to or that our towels would not be replaced. I believe we should have been advised on our arrival to refer to the television. Otherwise our stay was very good.

close the the freeway and the drive to Seattle was easy. plus garage parking so my car was safe.

parking charge for the garage if you stay at the hotel should be free.

Stay Downtown was comfortable.

SURPRISE $14 day PARKING FEE. not disclosed on web site..

The air conditioner could not be turned off. Also, I was trying to do some work at the desk and the air conditioner was blowing on me. I had to place a bed sheet over it. BAD ROOM DESIGN if you can't seat at the desk to work!
