Baymont by Wyndham Appleton

I currently commute to the area for work and was on a stretch of night shifts so the beds are super comfortable. Pillows are heavenly so between both made for great sleep...and this is even during the day!!!! Good choices for breakfast which also helped support sleeping well. Staff suppper friendly. Rooms are clean and I felt safe. Allll huge for me as being a RN and a mom to check all the positives like this is tremendous!!!!

Bathroom, at least in the room I stayed was tiny... Not much that can be done to change that... But again it was nice and clean and that is what matters most when all I was essentially doing for my stay was sleeping after working at night. And their physical location being tucked in a corner of a dead end service drive but again was/is worth the stay!!!

The room was nice. It was clean, neat and tidy. The usual amenities (frig/microwave/coffee maker) were available in the room and in good working order. The standard toiletries were also available. The shower was one of the best I've had at any hotel ever. The morning breakfast was predictable and satisfying. I liked that coffee and cookies were available in the lobby 24 hours a day. The staff was unfailingly polite and respectful.

The public spaces of the hotel (lobby/hallways) could use some sprucing up.

Hotel was very central to restaurants and shopping. Next to the Fox River Mall and all the great stores along Casaloma Drive. We enjoyed being close to Woodman's Grocery Store, along with Funset Boulevard Game Center and Marcus Hollywood Cinema. We had an amazing meal at Texas Roadhouse. They share a parking lot connection. Easy walking distance to most places we wanted to go.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The room was a good size and appeared to be clean with the exception of the shower vent (see below).

The small shower had an air vent to dry it inside. It was full of mold inside. I noticed there wasn't a switch for it. It might be a good idea to get new ones and make them work to prevent this. If that is not an option, better to remove them and not have a place for mold to grow.

Choice of rolls was excellent. Coffee was ok, could have been better. Selection of food was ok. Good value. Like the staff very helpful.

More cleaning staff. Unfortunately they were Short staffed.

Everyone was extremely professional and helpful.

Baymont was still being remodeled. Travellodge next door was completed. But, still had no issues with my accommodations.

Very good location and good breakfast. Close to restaurants and highway.

Lobby of our hotel was being renovated so we did have to go to hotel next door to check in and have breakfast, which was not far. Shower was a little small.

Had the front desk give us a different room as the first one smelled when we first walked into it, The second room was a little better but noticed mood around the shower walls and door, the breakfast sits to long in the serving trays and gets dried out from not enough guests in hotel we were disappointed with the breakfast decided to go out to eat

New, fresh, hard working people took over both hotels and are doing a phenomenal job. From my observations, they are constantly working hard to bring everything up to par and going above and beyond for their customers. I travel to Appleton often, and will continue to stay at the Baymont. I know they will succeed and wish them ALL the BEST.
