Hampton Inn Appleton-Fox River Mall Area

I made this comment to my husband several times...whoever designed this and/or wrote the specs is a master and deserves a huge raise. Here's some of my favs....heated pool and hottub (both actually working!), hair dryer with retractable cord...so much easier in small quarters, USB and outlets on every wall, even side of dresser next to a very nice, wide, full length mirror..loved this. With that outlet, I had my own 'station' while the bathroom was in use. The shampoo and conditioner were sulfate free, so I actually didn't have to bring my own like I always have to do elsewhere, Blinds with the easy chain versus the tug and pull atrocities. Cute small shelf with two stools on wheels on an otherwise empty wall was put to great use with a smaller suitcase or backpack where I could roll it where I needed it...and extend the handle to my luggage sideways to set out or aside items. I could roll the other one over to sit on while I did my hair and makeup in that awesome mirror with the outlet right there. The bathroom vanity had an extra storage shelf (not already filled with towels and stuff) but for our use for stuff that can be set aside and not crowd the sink area. Minor, but noticed, the bathroom outlet was further away from the vanity so the plugs and wires didn't knock everything over on top the vanity. Great shower head, easily reachable towels to reach from inside shower to properly dry off in the shower before exiting. Fresh, crisp, lightweight duvet and super soft quality sheets. The mattress was very comfy. Digital wall thermostat with an a/c unit that was so quiet. Soundproof windows, we didn't hear any traffic from the highway right outside the window. Overall, lots of surface space with dual functionality on most, roomy and spacious design, multiple layers of lighting, complimentary cookies upon arrival, and awesome hot breakfast. Low rates...I mean, it's a no brainer to stay here.

Good location - near a highway, good noise isolation - no noise of the highway even in the room at the highway side. Welcoming staff. 24h fitness center. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast, not a wide choice but everything was fresh and tasty.

They have some outdoor tables but you can't sit there for a breakfast, because you need to cross the pool area where food isn't allowed. And there was too much chlorine in the pool.

We liked all, however, this Hampton Inn hasn't been fully remodeled like some others.

We were there for a Packers game, very convenient location to interstate to get to Greenbay. Loved the variety at breakfast, plus coffee all day and the desk staff were amazing and fun!

Bathroom smaller than other Hampton Inns but was very nice and clean. Our bed seemed to sink in the middle but still slept ok.

The food, staff and choice of breakfast items were fabulous!!! Great staff, hot food, very clean and lovely sitting area!

Nothing! The front desk staff, the breakfast staff and even the cleaning staff were all kind, helpful and very attentive! Even the shuttle drivers were warm and chatty , full of information about Appleton!

Staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, nice pool and hot tub

Nothing wrong with the hotel but I had my stay on a very busy weekend for them so my only complaint is that the breakfast area was a zoo. More of a customer vs business issue

Very clean, good breakfast, nicely appointed room. The kind of high quality I expect from Hampton Inns.

The only issue we encountered was that of room noise from adjacent rooms. Voices, hairdryers, showers running.

This was my first time staying in this hotel. I didn’t know what to expect, but I’m very glad we stayed here! It was $200 for 2 nights in a king bed. The whole room was very clean and tidy. The bed was great to sleep on! Way better than the one I have at home. The staff was very kind and professional every time I spoke with them. The pool and hot tub was a great way for us to relax and unwind for an hour or 2 late at night. They also have adult time for the pool so you didn’t have to deal with children. Also all around the hotel there was a bunch of places to eat and shop at. The mall is a 5 min drive away and have EVERYTHING you could ever need. Over all I loved this hotel and I will definitely consider them the next time I stay here in town.

There wasn’t really anything that I didn’t like. The only thing that I didn’t like was the guests at some points because the children got to rambunctious, but that wasn’t the hotels fault.

Heather was AWESOME!!! Very welcoming and a great start to our time at the hotel. Pool was a little cool but was wonderful once we got used to it and the hot tub wad AMAZING after a full day of moving!

2 queen rooms are "tight" for a family of 4

new interior- wonderful front desk staff- great location for shopping-and I could not believe the wonderful continental breakfast and excellent friendly staff hosting the breakfast. very clean hotel as well.
