DoubleTree by Hilton Neenah

The reception staff was very helpful and accommodating. We decided to extend our stay another night and had difficulty doing so through Booking.com. The reception staff kindly matched the Booking.com rate to secure our room another night. The on-site restaurant offers a very complete breakfast menu. Pool area is enclosed and heated and is open until 10pm. Bonus detail was the warm cookie and bottle of water offered at check-in. Walking distance to the shops, eateries and cafes of historic downtown Neenah.

There is no room service. The on-site bar closes on the early side, 9pm. We were disappointed after a long day to not be able to order a glass of wine when we got settled into the hotel at 9:05pm. There is no laundry service for guests and the nearest laundromat is a bit of a drive.

The breakfast was a surprise, decent selections, I didn't think breakfast was included. Nicole (one of the customer service reps at the desk) was excellent. She always had a friendly smile and it was pleasure seeing her face while we were there. Location was great, right in the heart of the downtown area.

Nothing - will stay there again and will definitely refer friends and family.

Good location 3-5 mins. from highway exit. Small downtown area a block or two away with good dining options. Chain restaurants, grocery, shopping and gas within three miles. Nice small local park across from hotel. Free coffee/tea offering in lobby. Rooms with fridge and microwave. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Beds comfortable, television good.

Rooms need updating. Curtains, carpet and furniture dated. Would consider these rooms low in DoubleTree standards. Disappointing checkin as it was 6pm and our room still not available due to a shortage in cleaning staff. Somewhat understandable for the times; however, major week long event in the area and hotel had months to prepare staffing for the scheduled event.

Everything about the beds was wonderful!

We requested early check in, as we were there to attend the Packer game, between 2 and 3. The hotel could not accommodate our request. We wanted to avoid the lines at checking in after the game as well as change into some of our layers for the outdoor tailgate and game. I understand the laws of supply and demand.....the prices are always jacked up for the game days. We are disappointed nonetheless, to pay higher prices for hotel nights when we attend the games.

Cookies at checking in were awesome. Bottled water in the room was a plus clean room. Quiet

The parking was awful. Shares a lot with the apartment building next door. Tailgate partying in the lot upon arrival and late into the night. Small spaces and did not fell safe. No FREE breakfast.

Staff was super! The manager, Cathy, was exceptional! Even when putting in many hours over the Christmas holiday, Cathy was etremely helpful and personable! All of the staff was very professional, but Cathy deserves special (financial) recognition for her efforts! If I am in this area again, I will most likely stay at this property, and Cathy is the reason why!

The room was clean, but chilly. It required running the heating unit constantly.

Everything was great! Staff friendly & helpful. Room clean, roomy and offer all what we needed. Hotel amenities were great with a restaurant & bar on site. Great location! Love the warm Chocolate Chip Walnut cookie at check in!

No Continental Breakfast, but not big breakfast eaters. The Restaurant serves up a Buffet in the morning for around $12. Lobby has free coffee.

Room layout was excellent - glad it did not have a second bed taking up space. The location was perfect for our travel requirements.

No cookies anymore? I thought that was Double Tree trademark! Also, the room maintenance needs to be addressed - loose door handles on closets and the bathroom doorstop did not prevent the door from slamming into the glass shower door.

The staff the 2 little ladies at work 1st and 2nd shift was awesome the weekend focus was just as good

The price was a little too expensive for me but I went on and did it anyway because I had to be where I needed to be

It was clean, hot breakfast was an option. The sheets were soft, enough pillows. There was a pool. They were able to give us adjoining room.

Pool water was cold. Hot breakfast was supposed to be included, but the staff did comp. Thankfully. Only issue was if I had to pay for that breakfast, it was not worth the cost. Would rather go to IHOP. Food was not hot and not replenished quickly (it was their first hit breakfast in awhile).
