St. Croix Inn

Excellent customer service, we asked many questions over the phone before arriving, and every staff member was patient and kind with answering our many questions! We arrived later in the evening, the front desk had everything ready for us and welcomed me by name! They made sure we had time for to be in the pool and order from the restaurant/bar before closing. Our stay was quick but very memorable, definitely looking forword to returning in the future for a longer stay!

We REALLY liked that the temperature was cool in the room (as we are winter people). The view from the balcony was fun, and it was nice to be able to go outside for fresh air. It was greatly appreciated that there were notices up that people were NOT TO smoke on the balconies as well as in the rooms.

Our room was right above the bar and we could hear the music and the people up until the bar closed.

I was searching for a reasonably priced motel when I came across this one. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room had a mini-fridge and a microwave and there was a small grocery story just up the road a couple of blocks. They also have a lounge on site that serves some cooked food, but I liked having the option. It was on the lake, with a deck looking out onto it. I felt it was a great find, and frankly, underpriced. If I get to that part of Wisconsin again, I would definitely stay here again.

Very cute place to stay for our friends wedding. I bet it's really fun in the warmer months. Megan who works in the bar was a super fun person! I'd come back to hang out with her!

The food both at the bar ans breakfast was not awesome. Opening hostess mini doughnuts and putting them in a bowl is not a breakfast. Pizza at the bar was no good, not worth the $18 we paid for it.

The look of the property as a whole. Everyone including the owner were just so kind. Having the view of the lake right from our room was amazing.

It was a bit louder than I expected while inside at night. The pool levels were off so we couldn't swim or get in the hot tub, the chlorine smell was through the whole inn. I will say that the owner noticed it and was right on trying to get it fixed which was really awesome.

I can't say enough about the location and the view. It was gorgeous! The staff was very friendly. The pool and hot tub were very enjoyable. While outside on the deck we meet locals we came up to the Inn for an appetizer and drinks. That says a lot when the local people frequent your place.

The rooms were very clean but our room had a slight wet dog smell. The Inn does allow pets and I imagine someone before us had a dog that enjoyed the lake and then slept on the carpet. Even with that, it was a wonderful place to stay.

It was ok…selections were few. We were going to be leaving early so glad to grab bottle of juice and a yogurt to go. We were told it would be “what you see is what you get”😃.

Our room was very close to the bar, which was open until midnight. We could hear the music and talking and laughing until closing.

WE ARE ELDERLY AND HAVE TROUBLE GOING UP STAIRS. THE MANAGEMENT GAVE US A ROOM ON THE FIRST FLOOR VIEWING THE LAKE. THANK YOU FOR THAT GESTURE.

THE BATHROOMS SHOULD HAVE STAINLESS STEEL HAND RAILS TO HELP GET IN AND OUT OF THE BATHTUB. ALSO THE BATH TUB WAS VERY SLIPPERY, I ALMOST SLIPPED AND FELL. NEED TO PUT FRICTION BATH TAPE ON BOTTOM OF TUBS. OTHERWISE WE WERE VERY HAPPY

Location was excellent. We went in the off season, so everything was available. Enough amenities to keep you occupied. Beds were very comfortable.

The rooms feel a little dated. You could hear the train in the distance multiple times at night.

Nice room, came to the area for a wedding, didn’t use any amenities. Pool area looked nice, was raining outside so didn’t use any kayaks or similar
