Renaissance Milwaukee West Hotel

I don’t like any thing about Wisconsin , but when I booked this room . My mind changed about downtown Milwaukee. I will come back but I will only come back for this. I loved everything thing about this hotel ! The room was great up to date decor!!! That’s very important to me!! The hotel had a magnificent restaurant downstairs . Breakfasts or dinner it’s doesn’t matter ,amazing bar also . If you like quality this is definitely a good quality Hotel . everything was in distance to the hotel Dave & Buster’s, mall is in the parking lot ,food , bars , the stadium great location. !!!

Only thing I didn’t like was it didn’t have a microwave in the room it was down the hall. Also no pool.

The location was excellent! Plenty to do in walking distance. We had brunch at the restaurant it was good. You get a lot of food! The atmosphere was very nice and comfortable.

The wait staff in the restaurant. We had water to drink and I asked for our own pitcher. The waitress Deb gave us one. Then the young man refilling water throughout the restaurant took it away. The manager was kind enough to replace it. I didn't appreciate the young man just taking the pitcher away. I was a paying customer and felt he was quite rude.

Pay parking , no specific instructions on breakfast location, how operate the lights in the room(key card had to be inserted while in the room)and housekeeping staff not checking the availability of tissue on roll ( May I suggest leave an extra roll in the room).

Stayed there to visit family which lives close by. Great location, near the Cheesecake Factory so enough said. Also near the Mayfair Mall good shopping area. But it is a little tricky to get into parking wise, have to go through the mall entrance then through the Cheesecake Factory parking lot to get the front entrance. The rooms are great, very modern, but with all hotels I find the beds lacking in comfort, for 4 star hotel the beds could be a little more comfortable. All in All a great stay! Forgot the y are close enough to American Family Park if going to a Brewers game and if you are going to Fiserv for a Bucks game in Milwaukee.

The beds were kind of uncomfortable. And the parking is tricky to get to and a little expensive for self parking rates $10.00 to park yourself? The lobby was also a weird setup, didn't know which way to go for check in right or left. The answer is left after you get through revolving doors.

I was born and raised in Milwaukee but currently live in Georgia. The Renaissance is my go to when I'm visiting "home" convenient location always clean and very comfortable!

They’re trying to be too high tech with the room. Never did quite figure out the card operated lighting. some lights in the room operated while others (bedside) didn’t.

One of my favorite hotels to stay at! The restaurant has fantastic food and I have to admit that I really like the fragrance that they put into the hotel lobby ventilation system.

Cant think of anything except for one little thing that seemed a little annoying. The charging for parking when the lot and parking structure is almost empty. Seemed a bit much. It may be wiser just to build it into the price of the room.

Great place! We enjoyed our stay on Christmas eve and appreciate the friendly staff!! Will stay again. Restaurant was awesome too. Highly recommended

Very Minor suggestion- wish there was a night lite in the bathroom. Finding the light switch was a challenge in the middle of the night.

The staff, the location, the room layout, the decoration, the TUB. I felt like it was home, I didn't want to leave

I didn't like checking out lol. Everything was perfect

The staff was amazing. Lauren, who is the Front End Manager was amazing. Very professional and attentive. The comfort and decor of the entire hotel is superior.
