The Manager & the staff were very accommodating the gal that checked me in was very nice a helpful The gal that was over the breakfast every day keep every thing fresh and hot it was a good breakfast and plenty of variety

The only problem I had with this hotel I was there for 9 days and never could get them to freshen my room if I wanted clean towels or the garbage taken out I had to take my used towels to the front desk and trade If you weren't ready for them to freshen your room by 8:oo am they would not come back This is when I met the manager a very nice person that finally got something done on the 8 day other then this which was a biggie to me this is a nice Hotel

Entire hotel including the grounds were immaculate each and every day. Delicious breakfast, cooked well, everything kept full. Tables could have been wiped clean more frequently but only one individual there to do it all and she was awesome! Comfortable beds with soft quality bedding. Love the attention to the small amenities like cookies late afternoon, to go snack with water , and hot coffee. Second time at a Wyndham and will continue to choose this company. Thank you.

Couch was Very hard on the back to sit on. Breakfast tables needed an occasional wipe down during breakfast.

This hotel has convinced us to stay at La Quinta's going forward. We've stayed in other La Quinta's which were really good too, but this one takes the cake. La Quinta seems to have found a great balance between affordability, service and offering, where so many other chains have faltered. Front desk guy was welcoming, smiling, and accommodating-despite checking in quite late. Rooms were spotless (new), and very very spacious and comfortable beds, etc. Hotel is very quiet, you don't hear any street noise or slamming doors, other conversations, etc.. Included breakfast is the best I have seen post-covid by far. I needed a quiet place to take a Zoom call and the same front desk guy proactivey offered and opened the conference room for me to take the call in there while having my breakfast. If you find yourself driving across the prairies of Wyoming, make this your pit stop!

I would have liked to enjoy the comfort for multiple nights.

The awesome staff, their ability to move us so quickly when the room we had was toxic fumes from next doors toilet drain issues and horrible smell. And were very accommodating when the tornado warning was threatening and we had a motorcycle to protect.

I prefer bacon over sausage because I have a strict diet I can only eat basically the eggs and bacon but scrambled would have been better and bacon rather than sausage because the sausage. Never seems cooked enough at most hotels. Everything else was great.

My stay at La Quinta was just the rest I needed. This place has all the little extras that bring your stay to the next level: Paul Mitchell bathroom products, high-quality finishings, and comfortable bedding. But the icing on the cake was the breakfast buffet. They not only have a waffle maker, they also have a pancake machine. Just push one button and voila! Once I added the strawberry compote and some whipped cream, with a side of scrambled eggs and bacon, I might as well have been at a proper breakfast restaurant. What a great way to start the day!

The parking lot was icy. I'm used to loads of sand and salt, so this was a bit of a surprise for me. But I understand that from an environmental standpoint, it's better not to do that.

We've stayed here in the past and we will stay here the next time we come to Gillette. It might not seem like much to most people, but good lighting and a strong functioning bathroom fan is important in a bathroom. We had 4 of us needing showers and it was great that after each persons shower, the bathroom mirror was free of condensation. I noticed when I showered, I barely had to use a towel to dry off. It wasn't cold after getting out either. It was just super good ventilation. Great shower head as well. The entire place is so clean and modern. I love they offer fresh baked cookies in the lobby. Great accommodating, friendly staff. Great location and right next to Ruby Tuesdays. Stay here... you won't be disappointed.

I can't think of one single thing.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and located very close to Newark Airport. Free and convenient shuttle to/from the airport saved a lot of money in Uber or Taxis. Breakfast was fine - eggs, sausages, and bakery goods. Nothing fancy, but got the job done.

The location is strange - wedged between several highways along with three other hotels. There are no restaurants nearby, had to order from Door Dash to get food for dinner. No options to walk somewhere to eat.

The room was clean and comfortable. The temperature in the room was great. The bathroom had good water pressure. The breakfast was really good - plenty of variety and good hot options.

Two small things that would have made the stay perfect - our window faced the parking lot and only had sheer curtains that didn't quite meet in the middle so there was a gap letting in light. Heavier overlapping curtains would fix that. Also, I wish the thermostat had an option to keep the fan on all night instead of the air coming on and off disrupting my sleep. The pool water was quite cold for me, but my kids had no problem swimming.

We enjoyed the comfort of a king-sized bed after a long day’s travelling. Ruby Tuesday, a stroll through the car park, was perfectly located for a decent evening meal. A good breakfast sent us happily on our way.

Misled by the man on reception about the smoky atmosphere. He suggested it was the product of Gillette being a mining town and construction work. It was clear the next morning that it was caused by wildfire smoke.

Exceptional location as well as clean, quiet, and affordable. The beds were comfy. The room has all the amenities: fridge, microwave, wi-fi, smart TV, writing desk/chair, plenty of outlets for electronics, iron/board, hair dryer, complimentary toiletries, etc. The bathroom was handicap accessible, including handrails, dual hand-held shower head and safety bench. The breakfast was very good with something for everyone. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating.

These are NOT dislikes, just factual statements about issues that were easily and readily resolved and/or beyond anyone’s control… The pool was closed for maintenance/repair. TV refresh rate was frustratingly slow and the batteries for the remote were dead. There was no “Do Not Disturb” placard in the room. Except for the pool and the TV, the other issues were graciously and rapidly resolved by hotel staff.
