Travelodge by Wyndham Gillette

This location is close to a variety of places to eat and shop. I bring my dogs with me and this is the first place that I have stayed where there is no evidence of other animals in the building or my room--no animal smells, messes or damage from previous pets.

Since I stayed on the ground level my dogs were unsettled with movement from the upper floor--this is of no fault to Travelodge, just my jittery pets. If you have noise sensitive dogs I would recommend staying on the second level.

What I liked about the staff at this location was that they solved a problem with my reservation promptly. I had booked two rooms through booking.com. However, when I arrived the hotel only had one room reserved. I don't know where along the way the error was made, but the on site staff at the hotel dealt with this issue promptly and provided two rooms for me and my travel companion.

If my booking had been implemented correctly, that would have been better.

I was impressed with the value of this motel. The rooms were spacious. The beds were comfortable and they give more than one soap. We stayed in 11 hotels in our 2 week road trip and most places give only 1 bar of soap. So you have to share the soap for the shower and sink. They also offer additional items aside from the usual, make up remover, shower cap.

The side door didn't lock. There was another door that leads into the hall to the rooms that require a room key to access, but it would have been better if the door locked.

The bed was super comfy. Wifi was excellent. Also got 20% off at a local Perkins. Awesome bonus! The water pressure for the shower was also awesome. Perfect for a one-night stopover. Would recommend it again.

My only complaint is the shower curtain was too short in the bathroom and water got all over the bathroom floor. One inch longer would have made all the difference.

Room was very comfortable and the actual POT for coffee was an added bonus -- I could have more than 1 cup! :-) The room was exceptionally quiet -- a very nice added bonus and greatly appreciated.

Only got to stay 1 night.

Clean & friendly staff

Had to ask for a bar of soap, ice bucket, & cup for water. Was told Corporate was trying to cut costs by not furnishing this items. Was given all 3 items by desk clerk. Will chose a different place to stay next time due to this.

Cheaper than a lot of the surrounding hotels. Bed was comfortable, AC worked great, and the mini fridge was useful!

There were two questionable stains in the toilet bowl. Overall the bathroom just felt kind of grungy.

The staff were really friendly and check in was quick. The room was super clean and they provided ample soap and hand sanitizer. Overall it was pretty decent for the price

The parking situation was a bit strange, but luckily the hotel was not full, otherwise it would have been an issue. The walls seem a little thin.

Towels were big and absorbent. It was quiet and easy to sleep. Staff were awesome.

Everything was wonderful.

The staff were very nice and friendly and helped me when my car broke down. It is also a nice location near a lot of restaurants and stores.
