Wyndham Grand Vedana Ninh Binh Resort

Our stay was amazing. We absolutely loved it! Location was great. Right beside the National Park and went for the best morning run ever followed by a wee dip in the pool. Class! Staff were all so friendly and helpful. But…The best part of it was Mark. LEGEND! Mark, a born and bred ozzy, continually bent over backwards and did everything he could for us to make our stay the best. Plus, he was also great craic (an added bonus). Thank you for everything staff at Wyndham and Mark!

Nothing. It was lovely. Although a few of the Karaoke singers could do with a singing lesson or two 😆

Memorable holiday to this fantastic resort. Massive resort spread out between the hills and mountains of rural north Vietnam. It's quiet, which we appreciated, and all the rooms and resort facilities are new and clean. The reception team were remarkable and always ready and willing to help. Buggies take you wherever you want to go. Buffet breakfast is enormous and in one of the most beautiful restaurants we have eaten in. Do yourself a favor and check out this resort, it will not disappoint. Until next time, thank you to each and everyone one of you we met during our stay. Hope to see you all again next year!

We opted for an over the water bungalow and it was well worth the price. The grounds were stunning. The room was a slice of paradise. I felt spoiled. It was close to Cuc Phuong, which was really nice. The bear sanctuary was also wonderful. Would I come back? I think so. I don't think I could get the same room for anything near this price. I loved sitting on the balcony watching the fish, watching the rain, drinking a beer, and watching the fog on the mountain (we were there in the rainy season).

When we got there a gentleman told us that he was our appointed guide. He let us know that he would pick us up at 3 to go to the bear sanctuary. I thought - wow, amazing service. The next day he picked us up at 9 and took us to the national park. We would have expected to pay for these services, but he made it seem like that was a hotel perk. Then, as he brought us back he sprung the cost on us and only accepted cash. It wiped us out of cash. He was clearly part of the hotel staff and was the one they sent for assistance (we had an issue with the safe), but I think he was doing a side hustle. Our fault, but I'd urge others to watch out for that.

The location is good from Hanoi we came by taxi within 2,5 hours (we found a very good lady driver BTW, you can contact me, so I can provide you with her contact information) surroundings with lush vegetation, and outdoor pools are amazing even during the rain the water in the pool was warm. 3 types of outdoor pools were there for the children at any age. The reception staff is very helpful. We ordered a buggy when we needed to go to any part of the hotel. Next time I will take a bungalow with a personal small pool. Ideal for families to relax.

The breakfast menu was poor, the restaurant menu was also poor, and we ate the same things all the time. There was only 1 Bamboo restaurant and that restaurant was extremely noisy during lunch and supper time because of karaoke. The indoor pools were paid for, but it was worth it due to the hot bath, cold bath, SPA, and indoor pool. The temperature inside, the towels, and the staff were amazing, even with poor English language. Generally speaking, this hotel is not for internationals, we were the only internationals staying there. The menu and hotel are more focused on nationals/locals.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a pleasant stay. The two gentleman at reception, Mr Vuong and Mr Mark, handled all our questions, organized our day trip to the National Park (oldest in Vietnam I later discovered) and took us for a tour around the resort before arriving at our deluxe room. Room was clean, had everything you would expect from a 5 star resort and the view simply took our breath away. The smiling staff around the resort made us feel right at home. Would recommend spending the afternoon in the free Kayaks paddling around and watching the sunset over the glorious mountains. Many unforgettable memories made here. Thank you Resort team, a shining example and representation of a true Wyndham Resort experience.

Overall a 5 star experience. The reception staff were that of high hospitality standards (I come from many years experience). Check in was a breeze, English speakers available (native English speaker much appreciated, thanks sir) and complimentary cold refreshing tea after a somewhat long drive. The resort is quiet, spaced out and the staff are friendly. We enjoyed that a buggy was always just a phone call away.

The breakfast had all the inclusions of what a conventional buffet should, would have liked the option to have a "real coffee" not just filtered, but overall was satisfied. Would suggest they give guests a map upon check in.

A short stay at Grand Vedana Ninh Binh Resort at the end of a long trip to Vietnam was just perfect. It was very clean and very comfortable and was a great place to unwind and relax. The site is massive and includes a restaurant, pool and spa, a bar, café and free bikes to use to get around between them all. The views from the room were over the lake and across to the national park. The breakfast buffet was incredible. Everything you can imagine was there. But the best thing about the short visit was the care and attention the staff offered. They are a fantastic team of people (receptionists, catering staff, pool attendants, buggy drivers, cleaners....) who go out of their way to make sure that you're comfortable and have everything you need. I was blown away by this. They really care about the place and the work they do there. They gave the place the 5 star feel.

The warm smiles upon arrival (and the delicious complimentary cold tea) we knew it was going to be a fantastic stay. The resort is quiet, no hassle getting to the room or around the resorts as the buggy was always only a phone call away and they have free use of bicycles which means you can slow down and take in the breathtaking scenery the resort has to offer. The first day was hot and went straight into the pool. Clean water and service staff made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. The restaurant will take your breath away. A bamboo structured temple and delicious food. Clean rooms with a view. Will be talking about this resort for years to come.

A beautiful, spacious, and peaceful resort located far from the hustle and bustle of residents, yet close to the Cuc Phuong National Park. It takes one day to explore the fascinating variety of preserved wildlife in the park, which is truly exciting. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic. The food at the restaurant is delicious, with many local dishes that I really enjoy. The rooms offer a refreshing view of the lake, and almost all rooms here have a scenic view. The resort is approximately 90 km away from the capital, Hanoi, and a taxi can be arranged to pick you up for around 50 USD.

Everything is not outstanding, but it's OK.

This is 2nd time I visit this place. I must admit that my first time here was not as I expected. However, convinced by a friend, we came back here with a BIG SURPRISE. Staff were very helpful with quick service and kind attitude. Front desk staffs are very helpful, easy check in and check out, and helped answer questions about our outings We stayed in beautiful bungalow. The breakfast was excellent. The most important thing is we could enjoy the place with fresh air, beautiful landscape, quite environment which gave us total tranquil pleasure. Thanks to the hospitality and kind support from Vedana resort's staff. Don’t foget to go to CucPhuong National Park ( about 1.5 km from here).

I wish I could stay here longer
