Aspley Motor Inn

The couple John & his wife are AMAYTHING & EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE TO EVERY DETALES ... they will do anything for everyone ... OOOOO BOY THEY WORK SO HARD ... We were there for 2 weeks and we saw them working from early morning until very dark even on Saturday & Sunday ... Also, the Wi-Fi is very fast. You also get shampoo, body wash, cream, dishwashing liquid & you can even wash & dry your cloth ... Not all the hotels do half of what they do & give you for your convenience ...

Who ever going there they have to know that is not a FANCY HOTEL but you will have everything you need in a BUDGE ... there is not dishwasher but then again we were in holiday so we did not cook ...

We arrived a little earlier than check in time (about 20 minutes) but the gentleman who greeted us at reception was very friendly and helpful, and let us check in early. The room was very clean and had a nice subtle smell and had all the amenities you would expect, plus was a very generous size. Everything in the room worked as it shouldve. It was also easy to find and for being as close to the main road as it was, there was very little road noise. Very close and accessible to shops, public transport, and entertainment options.

The whole place is a little old and tired and could do with a freshen up. The whole front of each room is half window, half glass sliding door, which is very hard to lock and unlock and definitely doesnt feel the most secure. It also means you can hear your neighbours entire conversation if they are sitting out the front of the room or near their car.l Appliances and fittings in the room are old and do look slightly dirty but on closer inspection it's all just part of the age of them.

The owners were so kind to me and helped me out lot. It was very close to the near bus stops so I can always very easily get myself into the city. The price was very reasonable. The bed was very comfortable and It also came with a sofa and a seating area to eat food at. It had a TV and the shower was pretty nice aswell.

There was an odd smell in bathroom and I always had to spray it before going in there and I didn't really like the fact that the window wasn't above the sink it was the otherside. I found that a little odd.

Spacious room with plenty of surfaces to spread out on - comfortable bed, comfortable couch, coffee table, bench and table and chairs - perfect for a longer stay. Shower water pressure and temperature was good although the shower curtain was prone to getting water on the floor. Parking space right outside room meant getting in and out was a breeze. Arrived in Brisbane on a stinking hot and humid day and walked into the room to find the aircon cranked up and a jug of chilled water in the fridge - such little details but so refreshingly welcome!

The carpark/driveway is a bit uneven and steep in places, so just be careful getting in and out of your car. Also, if you're a larger person like me, the toilet is a bit cramped for space.

This is an older hotel, but it was pretty clean and provided necessities such as a microwave, crockery, cultlery, kettle and toaster. The shower had good water pressure and the bed was firm and comfortable. The air conditioner was efficient and quiet. We also appreciated the fact that there was a lounge seat, a small table with two chairs and a desk area with two chairs - ample space to relax or work. The swimming pool looked clean and inviting as well as the picnic tables. This motel is excellent value for money at this time.

A couple of the parking spaces are on a slope. I have a slight limp, but I was able to manage. If you have any mobility issues, let the management know so that you receive a room with flat parking. There was a sneaky cotton bud from a previous occupant trapped in the bathroom bin. The fire alarm had lost its cover.

We booked according to the ratings which were really good and at a low price. We really didn't expect much but it was a really enjoyable stay. The staff were extra accommodating, the room, though a bit dated was really clean and well stocked with cutlery, plates, a small fridge, microwave, lovely hot shower etc. If you are worried about noise being so close to a major road, don't be. The traffic noise is not disturbing and we are country people living at the end of a rural dirt road. We will stay there again if that location suits what we are in Brisbane for.

This can't be altered by the Aspley Motor Inn in any way whatsoever and not a comment on the facility in any way. When you turn off the main road into Brisbane at the lights, you have to first turn left and go down to the space where you can do a "uey" and then proceed up the road to the motel. It isn't a bother once you know where you have to go. The bonus of the lights at the turn in makes accessing the motel very easy. There is another way in from the opposite direction but we didn't venture that way.

Location was excellent, we were visiting relatives and friends and this was a very convenient location. No problem with road noise from busy road nearby. Shopping centres close by in both directions and not far to city area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Motel is an older one but very clean, comfy bed,and has all you need for a comfortable stay. I recommend this motel and staff and would stay again when in the area.

This motel although old style was clean comfortable & the managers were lovely. The pool area looked inviting, and the BBQ area was great. It was quiet and also within walking distance to the Aspley Hotel which had meals.

There was nothing really, I didn't like about this place. Although an offer of breakfast would be good even if it was just cereal and or toast. This is just a suggestion not a complaint though.

Pam and Mark had our room ready for us after we requested an early check in. After 36 hours in the same clothes flying from Portugal it was wonderful to shave,shower and change into clean clothes, and was very refreshing and much appreciated. This truly is a home away from home, and we would recommend staying at the Aspley Motor Inn to anyone, and we will certainly stay there again when next visiting Brisbane...exceptional value.

8 days of rain, but that was not Pam or Marks fault !! LOL

Great location just minutes from Chermside Shopping Centre. Beds were very comfy and the pool / BBQ area looked lovely. The room was just the right size and offered all the basic necessities. Staff were pleasant and very helpful.

It's an older motel but offers great value for money! A few things could be updated such as the shower head but it still worked fine!
