The Miro Apartments

The location was perfect for us, close to the Brisbane river and one of the free City hopper "stops", close to the train staion and the Airlink train, and close to cafés and supermarkets. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. The apartment was well-equipped, there was everything we needed. The bathroom was clean. We also liked the fact that the builing was quiet.

There was just one thing that I didn't enjoy, and it was the fan in the bathroom that was running 24/7 and could not be turned off (I was told it was a kind of vertical ventilation in the building). I found it rather loud, especially at night and had to sleep with ear plugs. On the other hand, it could have been just me being super sensitive, as my partner didn't mind it.

Nothing to not like

Staff were friendly and helpful. Access to room was easy. Room was well appointed, and smelt nice. Lovely to exit the room and be surrounded by greenery. Ability to walk everywhere and not use our car or public transport was a bonus.

We didn't realise until we arrived that some of us were in Miro and some in Atrium which was a bit of a hassle when we were wanting to get together quickly for various reasons, and having to go down to foyer to let each other in.

Bed is comfortable another pillow would have improved sleeping. Room is clean and well appointed, kitchen was fitted with all you needed to cook. Location was within easy walking to restaurants, public transport and shopping. We found an excellent Indian restaurant around the corner. All Reception staff were friendly, obliging and helpful.

3 pillows supplied would have been better with 4. Dusting of bedroom furniture would improve general cleanliness. Slippery shower when wet. Fire alarm was annoying and there was no stand down. People did not know if to evacuate or not.

Good location and facilities. It had everything.

Mattress on the bed was terrible, well past its used by date. Apartment requires some minor maintenance and general upkeep. Blown light bulbs, missing power cables and remote control to the bedroom TV, and some handles in the kitchen require replacing. Washing machine cabinet door doesn't close, it would be better to remove door completely.

Good apartment I believe it has a mixture of short term and long term stays. I had stayed here when visiting friends in Brisbane and they were fine with my friend popping over. Great location was able to walk everywhere. I would stay here again for sure

The television could do with an upgrade I forgot to bring my chromecast for my hangover day but wasn't the end of the world.

The apartments were located in a great spot for us to get to the venues we came down for. Our apartment had everything we needed and very comfortable. On arrival the Lady at reception was very friendly and welcoming, so were the other staff when ever we were leaving or coming back.

Maybe some kind of stripping on the end of the glass shower screen to highlight it's there. I ran into because I didn't see it properly.

There was no wall and door separating the bedroom from the rest of the apartment therefore 1 person could not sleep if the other wanted to watch TV The shower head is a water saver so washing takes a considerable time

Very helpful staff, in particular for great communication and being able to accommodate our over-height vehicle in their parking garage. Comfortable beds. Spacious apartment. Nice and quiet while being in a very good location. Very good value for money. We would stay here again.

A few parts of the apartment could have been cleaned better, but it was still comfortable and acceptable for the price.

Found the unit to suit our needs really well - Pubs and cafes are really close which is handy, and having laundry facilities was a huge bonus. We have recommended the units to friends who travel through Brisbane and we would stay again as well. I was also really lucky that the house keeping handed in my kindle to reception and they were nice enough to hold it for a week until we were travelling back through to grab it.
