unfortunately the shower was the biggest let down. took ages for hot water to come through, then no consistent temperature. would go scalding then cool on and off without touching the tap.

We didn't have breakfast, we had supplied our own. The facilities in the room were great. The microwave was very useful for heating the evening meal, given that the restaurant was unavailable. The location of the motel was excellent for our purpose - attendance at St Andrew's hospital.
On looking for a misplaced watch ( which was subsequently found), I discovered a single dark sock under a bed, along with a pen, cover and a bottle top. Otherwise, the room was clean and tidy. (I understand that cleaning staff were at a premium).

I liked the friendly hotel managers and staff that I met duting my stay. The room was comfortable, the room was spacious and the bed also comfortable.
The shower seal wasn't very good and the water did leak onto the bathroom floor. I did give this feedback to the hotel manager, as I feel it's important to fix the issue. Preventing a slip or injury is important.

The compendium needs to be updated in regard to the restaurant until is back up and running. Also having plates, bowls and cutlery in the room would be good and larger cups.

The swimming pool was closed, due to a licence issue or something, and it was a big reason we booked this hotel. With the humid weather, a pool was essential, so we weren’t happy it was closed.

The hotel itself was a little dated on the outside but the rooms image were tidy clean and neat although a little small but it was all we needed
I didn’t try to use the air con till later in the night and it wouldn’t turn on it was mid February so still very hot and uncomfortable I also wanted room service for 630 but it didn’t start till 730
