apartment is clean and has a big refrigerator, pots and pans and cutlery in the kitchen which is useful to us as we cook our own breakfast. also like the washing machine and dryer machine.

the balcony is very unkempt and dusty. hence we never use the balcony. it will be useful if we have a broom and dustpan so that we can sweep the floor ourselves after dinner. sometimes food drop on the floor after meals and we like to keep the floor clean after dinner. as we are Asian, we prefer to leave our shoes near the front door and walk around the apartment bare feet but unfortunately we cannot do so becos the hard floor is dusty. after walking bare feet on the hard floor around the apartment, our feet is black. only the bedroom has carpet, the rest of the apartment has no carpet. perhaps u can provide bedroom slippers to guest to keep their feet clean.

I liked the kitchen area and bathroom were two separate rooms from the large bedroom/sitting area. It was very spacious. Walking distance to great Asian restaurants was a bonus for me as there is always good options for a vegetarian.

Good value for money, clean & comfortable. Quiet, free Foxtel movie channels but worked this out too late. Late check out till 12pm was a bonus! Free car parking.

Don’t be put off by staff comments - I called prior to booking to confirm the advertised late checkout & asked if they were the Tudor looking hotel right near the freeway, reply was yes, ended up at wrong hotel initially as there is a Tudor style looking hotel nearby at the freeway entrance on Middleborough Rd I often see & assumed it was this one. I also asked if it was renovated, reply was no, so asked if the beds were comfy to which the lady on the phone said NO!! She then said she’d never slept there so not sure what her answer was based on, possibly other guests feedback previously??? Not a great promotion of the hotel! Was nearly put off but there was nothing much else available in the area so tried it anyway & the bed was actually fine!

We enjoyed a spacious 2 bedroom apartment; staying in an apartment with 'house-sized' proportions was refreshing- most modern apartments have shoebox proportions. The apartment was very clean and looked out to beautiful trees and greenery. Check-in was all very easy. There was a washer and dryer, which was very convenient.

Very clean but shows signs of wear and tear, probably due for a paint at some stage.

Complimentary upgrade on arrival & early checkin was a bonus, good value for money & had a late 12pm check out included. Older but very clean & tidy. Complimentary parking is great!

Upgrade was great for us - but bear in mind if stairs are an issue for you as this could be a problem, the apartment is up a flight of stairs to begin with & then once in the apartment the bedroom was a loft style up a full flight of stairs on its own & the toilet/bathroom back downstairs, also TV is downstairs so you can’t get cosy & curl up & watch tv in bed.

We stayed in a 1 bed apartment across the road at Tudor Apartments. the apartment was quiet, private, big enough, clean enough and everything worked as it should. aircon was strong which was needed on a hot day. bed was comfy and we slept well.

there was one quarter roll of toilet paper. not sure how that is supposed to last a 5-night stay for 2 people. yes, we probably could have asked for more, but were told housekeeping only comes once a week so we didn’t bother and just used our own

Location was close to trains and tram services. Room was a good size and had a small kitchenette with a toaster and microwave which was handy. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was nice and quiet even though the hotel was on a busy road.

Pillows were hard and towels were old and the kitchenette didn't have plates or cutlery. We wanted onsite parking but there isn't enough parking for each room and we had to park on the street or around the corner a number of times.

As soon as we arrived, we were offered a free upgrade from the Queen Spa room that we had booked and paid for in advance, to a Queen Spa Suite. Even though the upgraded room was upstairs, we were told this during the offer and before we accepted, which was appreciated. There was sufficient car parking and some of it was undercover and was available. External sensor lighting for the stairwell was great. The Reception staff were cheerful and very helpful when we had a minor issue with the heating.

We had a Midday checkout, however at 10.30am the cleaner knocked on our door and asked how long we were going to be!! Even though she was polite when enquiring, she should have been aware of our late checkout status.

Spacious, clean and convenient location for my purposes. received an upgrade which was nice. however needed to come down from the bed in the loft or use the bathroom overnight, which can be a bit tricky for the less agile.

I was not overly impressed by hospitality offers or the communication with staff. Despite making an enquiry about the restaurant hours when I turned up I was told that as there were no customers they had closed the kitchen.

I booked this on behalf of my parents, who really enjoyed their stay. They said it was very comfortable and clean. Great value for money - one of the most affordable rates we found, particularly given that we booked at the last minute. Fantastic location, too - Box Hill Central is within walking distance, where you will find incredible food and the local bus and train station, which can get you to the city in 18 minutes when the train is running express! Would book again!
