Burwood East Motel

Choosing BE Motel is always easy. The location is central for me. Easy access by private or public transport to the Melbourne CBD and surrounding shopping centres which are within 30 mins drive. The room is clean and basic needs are satisfied. I especially like the private parking allotted to the specific room. This is a huge plus. No traffic congestion (based on my personal experience for several years that I roomed in BE Motel) in these Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

Clean, comfortable bed, fantastic shower, staff were fantastic as well. Couldn’t do more for us. The location was great. Across the road from shopping centre with 24 hour Cole’s, KMart. A full range of restaurants and shops.

There was nothing except apple and google maps sent us into a side street (Ray Road), but the entrance was really on main road (Blackburn Road), so we had to go around the block to get in (not their fault).

Perfectly situated for our purpose with access to transport system and shops on the doorstep. Staff and particularly the receptionist couldn't do enough for you. All requests were met with a swift and positive response. Clean at all times with services flexible. Pool and BBQ available and kept clean and usable at all times.

could do with a little TLC to brighten and refurb the rooms as looking a little dated but didn't detract from our stay.

My bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. This motel does not do breakfast, but I knew that when booking and took my own. I noticed, however, they did provide a toaster in addition to the normal tea making facilities. I was pleased that all the rooms were on ground level and that the showers were walk in showers - very important when aging. I would have liked to have a wake up call but they don't do that. That may now be common practice and in future I will take a little alarm clock. Overall, it was good accommodation.

My only concern was the non - availability of an early morning wake up call. Maybe they could install an automated service to cover this.

The Owner was very helpful and friendly. I have stayed here before and love that it is so quiet and the beds and pillows are the absolute best. We sleep so sound. Fantastic water pressure. Love that the room has things that are usually missing from most motels like electric blanket, clock radio and microwave. There are enough plates and cutlery. The shopping center that is a walk across the road. Be back there when I can.

Incredibly helpful and friendly owners, very clean and perfectly adequate for a short stay where we were out for most of the day at the GP. Location was further away from GP than ideal but hardly the fault of the motel! With trams virtually by the door to the city it still worked well for the GP and lower cost than accommodation closer in. No other acceptable accommodation closer to the GP was available. Beds comfy but a little hard for me but no doubt fine for those that like firm beds. Kitchenette fine and had everything needed for short stay, simple breakfast, snacks etc

Great Stay. The motel was clean and had so many little features that have disappeared from most motels like electric blanket, tissues, extra blanket ,microwave etc. The motel was quiet. The Motel was is in a great location right caross the road was a shopping complex with 24hr Kmart, Coles, China Bar and many more shops. The Owner was a very friendly helpful lady. I alway love a friendly warm greeting on arrival.

Great service Lady at the reception was very welcoming my room as first time i entered it was nice and fresh and relaxing. Highly recommend my friends and other people if they going to burwood east please do definitely check in at burwood east motel . Great job and great service burwood east motel on blackburn.

Well run motel. Laundry facilities, Pool and parking were excellent. We were placed in a quieter part of the motel in line with our request. Beds were comfortable. Room contained a microwave and kitchenette with adequate crockery, glassware and cutlery, Wifi worked well. Daily room service was efficient.

Bathroom fan was very noisy

Great to have separate kitchen sink and good eating facilities in the room. Rare for a property at this price. Comfy bed. Reception offered great info about restaurants and shops available nearby.

For some reason Google maps thinks the entrance to this property is in Barry Road! Don't miss the turning BEFORE Ray Road
