Radisson Hotel & Suites Red Deer

The room was so much bigger and better than I anticipated. It was like a cool little apartment. It was also very clean and the bed was super comfortable. I had a really hard time getting out of bed!

The only thing that needs improvement are the elevators. I think one of the two was out of commission, and the sole working elevator was pretty slow, so I took the stairs to my 3rd floor room 90% of the time, but I can handle it.

The room size was larger than expected. The service from the staff was exceptional. The restaurants had good food and large portions but needed better hours. The hotel was clean, not noisy and had plenty of parking.

The pool area needs renovation. There are missing and broken tiles in the hot tub that are very sharp. The main pool was freezing, and the liner is lifting; it would be better served to remove the liner and refinish it with tiles.

Suite was spacious and comfortable, with an adjoining room for the children. The fitness centre was a big plus and I made a few visits with the kids.

When we returned one day, we found that the AC had been adjusted to 18°C while we had been out - I had turned it off before leaving. I am not so bothered about it having been a bit cold when we got back, but this sort of thing wastes energy.

Beds very comfy, quite location, Lady in restaurant very nice and friendly -and the lady that checked us out at 5 am. Room had safe, micro wave and fridge.

Missed our wake up call request, steam room not functioning, spa closed, breakfast was cold . Day staff competent but not very engaging, room keys had to be repeatedly obtained since they stopped working.

The swimming pool area is as exactly as it looks in photo. The rooms were nice and clean

The restaurant wasn't opened, however it was supposed to be but the "server" and "bartender" didn't show up so it wasn't. Depending on which room you were in depended on your bed - ours was hard as a rock, the pillow i used, my head didn't leave a dent in because it was so hard. Our friends was so soft, their pillows had all of the fluff go to the side of the pillow.

Pet friendly, I travel for work and usually bring my dog.

The stairwell is kind of sketchy and doesn’t seem safe. My dog is scared of the elevator and being on the 3rd floor I was up and down the stairwell many times. The staff had missed on my booking that I had a dog. Although I booked a king room, they put me in a double queen room.

The hotel would have ranked higher if the restaurant had been open and the pool heater, hot tub and steam room were warm. They were all down when we stayed. Breakfast policy was rigid. We paid for the breakfast which we were told was a package; when we went down to collect it at 9:45 we were told breakfast closed st 9:30, so didn't get breakfast. On the plus side, kudos to the cleaners; the rooms were spotless. The beds were also very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Aesthetically the hotel is also very nice.

A little less rigid around timing of breakfast, especially given that it's packaged and when families pay for it.

Property was amazing because of the amazing staff there. Your front desk staff Jester was simply amazing. He accommodated is in every possible way. We are a family of 4 with 2 young children and jester helped us into our room and helped us with our luggage. I needed to make some changes to our room while on the road and jester was more concerned about my safety on the road and reassured me that everything will be taken care of once we get to the hotel and cautioned me not to talk on phone while on the road even though I have Bluetooth. As a mom, I was touched. Jester deserves a huge raise. You got a great asset right there

The hotel was clean, staff were friendly, room was nice.

It would be nice if there was a breakfast option at the hotel, although Starbucks and Tim Horton's are a super short walk away (less than 2 minutes/just on the other side of the parking lot).

My girls loved the pool, however it was in the basement and dark we left quickly after there was a man that had kept coming in and out for one of the rooms down there, my kids felt uneasy.

My room was not cleaned food or stains on the desk
