Radisson Hotel Sudbury

The staff were excellent. They were very nice to a visitor I had who also came from out of town. The pool was okay....could have been a bit cleaner. Loved the way I was treated by staff. Both cleaning staff very friendly and front counter staff....exceptional. The front lobby was very clean and smelled wonderful. Having lemon water and coffee at the front desk was really nice to have. Constantly went for that ice water with lemon.

My room smelled like smoke when I first got there but I don't suppose you can control that. I had to ask to have my room cleaned on day 4... I would hesitate to stay at the Radisson...again not because of the hotel itself but because of the location in downtown Sudbury. Sudbury has really gone downhilll since I last visited. It was scary to leave the hotel at night...and there were a lot of drug addicts hanging around out front of the hotel by the smoking area. More cameras would be appreciated in the car parking lot.

We were there for a family celebration of life. I was very happy with the hotel overall. Staff were lovely. We ate in the restaurant the 1st night and had a lovely evening meal. Cost is pretty average for the area. Our waitress was lovely and did a great job. Staff overall were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. The room was lovely. The beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom supplies were very nice. Had a nice bathtub with a shower. Small coffee pot in room which was handy for that morning cuppa. Had to get more packs of coffee from reception as there was only one each.. Was really happy that there were coffee facilities available all day in the foyer, which was very handy when heading out and when returning to the hotel. Didn't really get to see much of the area to assess location, but it was east enough to find, straight drive in, and parking was available on site. Though can be busy. Think there was other parking but we didn't find it. There is a food court close by,cso it was handy for going to buy some food for our long journey back to where we were staying. As we had travelled over from Ireland. Would definitely recommend it.

The property is located at a very convenient spot, the staff is very accommodating and the hotel has most amenities you'd want especially traveling for leisure. I'd like to give a shout out to all the staff working at the front desk for their service during the Canada Day weekend. It got really busy and they did their best to accommodate all guests. Even the cleaning staff was super friendly. We'd love to come back here and highly recommend this hotel.

The carpets could use some through cleaning. Please have more people at the front desk when there's an influx of guests.

The venue was easy to get to. The room was comfortable, including the bed and pillows (LOVE the pillows). The ammenities like the infused water in the lobby, and in-room coffee were very much appreciated. Having the parking garage right next door, connected so we didn't have to walk outside was also much appreciated.

While all the staff we met were kind and helpful (no negfative comments about any of them), the venue itself appeared tired. The main floor carpets were all quite stained and dirty-appearing. Aside from that, we recognize that it is an older facility.

The room was comfortable, the staff were very pleasant and friendly. We liked that our room had direct access to the courtyard to walk our dog, especially considering the downtown location. The parking was partially fenced in. The pool was large and always warm temperatures.

The room had a funny smell, and the bath tub had clumps of hair in it which also caused it to not drain while taking a shower, even after I tried to clean it out. But overall for the price it was a great accomodation! Would recommend and return.

The heated pool was great, my kids loved it. My husband enjoyed the lobby coffee bar and water station. The location was very central and convenient.

As an adult, I would love if there could be "adult only" swim hours after 9pm. The hotel was attached to a public parking garage and we found drug paraphernalia in the hotel corridor between the guest rooms and parking garage. This really scared my 5 year old daughter. Fortunately, staff dealt with it immediately once alerted.

The room was spacious, clean and the wifi never lost connection. We really enjoyed the pool and the complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations. The check in process was fast. The location of the hotel was great because everything seemed to be 9 min away.

The pool has too much chlorine in it and all beverages at breakfast were watered down. Check in was speedy but there was no mention of wifi passwords so make sure you ask at check in.

The concierge was fantastic. I asked for more coffee creamers for my room since rooms weren't getting cleaned due to COVID protocol and she checked in with me as I was returning to my hotel room later that night to see if I needed more (I really appreciated her conscientiousness). The cleaning staff was fantastic. When I saw her on my way to the elevator, I asked for more tea/coffee and she gave them to me. I really appreciated that since I was staying more than 1 night and the lounge coffee wasn’t available all the time (and tea is not available as an option). I was pleased with the hotel restaurant breakfast (tasted great, had lots of options and overall great value).

One of the beds had a small spot of dirt when I lifted the covers, but overall, the bed was clean. The other bed was clean and comfortable to sleep in. Lots of pillows but they were a bit too soft for me.

the indications for the indoor parking from inside the hotel were not very clear, and when you came in the building from the parking it was not clear how to get to the lobby. a labyrinth really and our key did not work for each door from the indoor parking. I suggest putting up clearer signs that indicate where to go. i also suggest having safety handles be installed in the showers. I was staying at this hotel with my elderly mother and it was very difficult for her to get in and out of the tub, dangerous actually.

Central location, once there you do not need to leave as there are lots of good places to eat that will deliver. Cinema is located in the same complex if you would like to watch a newly released movie.

Refreshment machine was empty on my floor, went to another floor and there was only 1 selection. Opened the in room coffee and there was an used coffee filter still in the machine ( not too big a deal though)
