Midland Inn & Suites

The hotel was a surprise. First it was easy to find just off the hwy. Check in was easy. The room was larger than we expected and very well laid out. We had a beautiful bathroom, comfortable beds and the room was equipped with a new fridge and microwave. The breakfast was another pleasant surprise. The breakfast room was bright and airy with very attractive table coverings. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, sausages, potato patties, toast, bagels, cream cheese, jams, peanut butter, juices, yogurt, tea and coffee. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful when we asked for maps of the area. We would highly recommend this hotel.

That I didn't have time to stay another night and explore the lovely area.

Breakfast was simple yet more than enough for me and great value for the price. All aspects of customer service were top notch, even down to last minute reservation changes.

Marquis sign stays on all night, blinds are not quite enough to block the light into the adjacent rooms.

It's a perfect place for exploring Georgian Bay. There is a big parking in front of the motel. Midland city center is within walking distance. The rooms were quite large and clean. The staff was very friendly.

We didn't like all the plastic stuff at breakfast. It would't take more time to put real plates into a dishwasher than putting plastic plates one upon the other seperated by a paper napkin. But it would avoid these huge masses of trash.

Breakfast was good and a nice big room to be spread out. Most people wore masks. Staff was friendly and had decaf coffee when I requested it. They had given us a room that was close to the front door after we mentioned that we had trouble with stairs and suitcases.

Found the water very hard. Couldn't get the soapy feeling off from bar soap or shampoo. Maybe need a water softener?

Everything. 👌 It was one of the cleanest, nicest with a fantastic location I have stayed at in awhile. Would definitely recommend it to others. You would not be disappointed.

My wife has mobility issues and the room was described as being very accessible, which it was. It was on the ground floor, the door to the bathroom was a bit wider so one could enter with a walker or wheelchair, grabs bar in the shower and next to the toilet and the bed was at a height which allowed my wife to get into bed more easily, unlike so many accommodations which have ridiculously high mattresses which are an impediment for disabled people.

Friendly personnel. Location gives access to the Midland highlights - although you need a car to reach anything. Breakfast was good. We liked to room - it was huge and had all facilities in perfect state. We liked that you could sit outside and even use the BBQ!

Nothing - I would return when in the neighborhood

Room very clean and well organized. Included breakfast was full buffet not just continental.

The breakfast could have had more variety. They served the same food the last time that we stayed there.

The Inn was clean and comfortable and adequate for our needs. I have stayed here before and will stay here again. We had parking on-site and the staff were friendly and helpful.and the breakfast was nice
