Hotel Les Lanchers

We stayed in a delux double room which had a duel aspect and large terrace. Fantastic views of Mount Blanc. The room was spacious and comfortable. Good bathroom with a modern shower. The hotel is located opposite the bus stop for Chamonix which is a free ( hotel provides a guest card) 5 minute ride. There is a free car park literally beside the hotel but it is popular. We paid 10 euros for parking reserved for the hotel… beware only 2 places so prebook. We ate in the restaurant which had an adequate menu and enjoyed the meal.

Nothing to dislike but as an observation the bar down the road was far more popular than the hotel bar which is missing a trick. There is no air conditioning in the bedroom that we could find

Fantastic spacious room with a private balcony with a view of Mont Blanc towering above. It was a room upgrade otherwise we wouldn't have experienced this - it was wonderful. Hotel run by young people, all friendly and extremely helpful - friendly young woman told us how to get into Chamonix (bus right outside which was great) and supplied a card which allowed us to ride the buses for free (due to having paid the local taxes). Noticed they did packed lunches for folk getting up early to hike. Comfy bed and good breakfast.

It was all wonderful.

Great location with easy access to Chamonix town centre by bus or by 15 min walk along river. Room was comfortable and clean. Bar, restaurant and food was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Small supermarket a few doors up and small bar (Le Petit Social) and newsagent across the road.

The room was reasonably spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The hotel as a good vibe and the bar and restaurant enjoyed a good atmosphere. Excellent parking right outside the hotel. Check in and check out very efficient

Nothing really. The worst aspect of the hotel was probably the small bathroom but it was not a major issue. Maybe the

great location. easy parking and hotel access. a Ross the road from le petit social bar, which was great for a simple breakfast of really good coffee and croissant / pain Au chocolate the next morning. family room perfect with two sleeping areas and private shower. takes pets, which was a win!

unfortunately the restaurant / bar was closed for dinner… and at 21:00 arrival with a child it wasn’t so easy to nip out and did something to eat. but that was just unfortunate are timing

It was a nice walk or easy bus ride to the downtown area of Chamonix but it was in a quieter neighborhood which was perfect for me. I found the room comfortable, the bathroom was clean and laid out well. I really liked the balcony overlooking the street with the mountains right there. The staff were all friendly and helpful which I really appreciated.

Break fast was nice. One of the staff, Agustina, was very helpful and welcoming.

There is nothing to complain, but for one day there was some plumbing works going on, so could not get hot water for bath in the afternoon. They rectified it by 5 pm.

price compared to the other properties in the area, room size, comfortable bed, free parking nearby, great heating both bathrooms and room

outdated carpet in the floor, lacking charm, very old and tiny tv not even smart tv which is norm nowadays and useful on rainy days

The Hotel is in a nice location a 25 minute walk out of Chamonix which makes it peaceful but with easy access to all the facilities Chamonix has to offer & the hotel was good for reasonably secure parking for our motorcycles.

Lovely location in a quieter area of Chamonix. Bus stop right outside for trips into the centre and to the lifts up to Mont Blanc

Room was very small and bathroom even more so. Food menu v limited.
