K+K Hotel am Harras

Location: directly at the subway station "Harras"; if you take the elevator from the platform, you end up almost directly in front of the hotel entrance. The Albert-Roßhauer-Straße in front of the hotel is quite busy but at least in our room the windows made the room fairly quiet. I would expect that sleeping with open windows is quite impossible if your room goes out to the front. From Harras, the subway takes you to the Marienplatz in 8 min and to the Klinikum Großhadern in 9 min. Room: we had a rather small twin room but we did not miss anything. Beds were comfortable and had two pillows each. The bathroom offers a shower over a bath. The room appeared to be clean. Breakfast: a quite large selection for 16 EUR including fried and scrambled eggs, bread, rolls (not from a bakery though), yoghurt, muesli, sausage, cheese etc. Gluten-free options are available. Staff: professionally friendly. There was the option to leave the luggage on the last day after vacation of the room. Room is good value for money (we paid less than 80 EUR/night for a twin room).

Some of the staff speak only English and most do not seem to be native German speakers. The air condition did not seem to work properly; it was rather warm in the room regardless of the temperature we set the AC to. Bathroom could not be locked from inside. I would also have preferred a "real" shower rather than the shower over bath.

Very near Harras S Bahn and ubahn with supermarkets drugstores and eating places within a block. Very good breakfast and good sound proofing in rooms.

One issue I didn't like is that you have to pay separately to use the sauna. Room size is very small but comfortable enough. The main problem is that they need to urgently buy new sheets that actually cover the bed. The sheets seem to have been made for little kids as they are much smaller than the beds and that's not acceptable for this class of hotels. This is an easy mistake to correct but it seems like they don't really care as this has been a common complaint. Why don't hotels listen to customers and actually correct easy mistakes for improving their services?

A typical mid 90s business hotel, with well structured space, well designed rooms. Everything generally in good condition, with additions of modern comfort such as a flat tv. Immediate access to a prominent metro station is a great plus.

The good impression is to some extent deemed by latest interventions. You will probably miss the luggage rack, icy LED room lighting is uncomfortable, and due to poor illumination lobby and hotel look closed from the outside. Rooms have no card power switch. Maintenance noise in the morning. Breakfast, which few years ago was a highlight, has sharply declined in offer and quality.

Very quiet Hotel near the train station, a 7 min journey into the centre. Our room was so quiet that we overslept. The temperature in the room was perfect and the water hot . Roland was very helpful and suggested a good local restaurant We liked the complimentary festive Gluhwein from reception, a lovely touch.

The fridge wasn't very cold in the room ( unfortunately we didn't report it ) although there was a TV I would have expected it to be smart so that we could access netflix etc . I would have liked to have body lotion included in the complementary toiletries as most hotel chains do. Lastly we used the bar twice in the evening, we were surprised to find it closed on our last night which was a Saturday .

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. The location is great - few steps from the Hotel is an underground station, a bus station and a taxi station. Harras square (where the hotel is located) has many shops and some options for eating out - nothing fancy (eating out) but great for a quick bite.

Our room was a bit coming of age. It was clean, and fully ok, but it could use some refurbishing. For a longer stay it might become more of an issue. In that respect it could have been a bit cheaper, but the price was still fair, considering the location.

Clean, comfortable room. Quiet neighborhood. Value for money. U station a few meters from the hotel entrance. Friendly staff.

No fridge in the room. Small narrow parking.They could charge less for hotel clients (16 euros per day).

The room size was great, even larger than we expected and very well equipped. The beds were comfy as well. Breakfast was good as well. A small buffet but always warm and fresh with enough options to pick from. Breakfast times are also good. The location is good too, not quite in the central city but all destinations are easily reachable as the U-Bahn and buses are right around the corner. Small restaurants and supermarkets are also close by.

Only point is that the windows might need more isolation as you can hear the street noise through, even if its closed.

We came to Oktoberfest and the hotel is situated in an ideal place to get to Oktoberfest or to travel further afield. The nearest underground station is just across the road.weve used the hotel before and everyone is so friendly. There's a late bar if you want and the breakfast is very good.

I didn't have the option to pay more for ability to cancel the stay. Had to pay 100% up front - you never know what's going to happen and its a lot of money to lose if you have to cancel.

It was central, opposite the underground and 2 mins walk from the train station. Bathrooms were lovely. Breakfast was nice too - lots of choice!

It was really warm - it’s not possible to change the setting on the air conditioning from heating to cooling, and couldn’t put temperature lower than 18 degrees. I had the window open to cool the room down, however you could hear the outside traffic and people screaming late into the night.

The location is close to the U-bahn and S-bahn stations, cozy bed, well-equipped room, free drinks at the bar if you skip housekeeping, fridge (no mention previously)

They wanted to treat us like there is no twin bedroom at the hotel, but we are hungarians so we easily separated the beds just as like we booked, job done! The bar wasn’t open at Sunday, sadly They owe us a free beer, next time we are taking it! A little bit old furnitures.
