Harbour Plaza North Point

I enjoyed my stay at Harbour Plaza North Point based on the facilities, proximity to Quarry Bay Metro (Island Line), and various shops and restaurants. The metro is next to the hotel by ‘Subway’ and other shops. Of course, it is close to North Point and other places where you can see the famous Hong Kong skyline and seascape. North Point Metro (Island Line) is also within walking distance (Approximately 15 minutes), along with shops, restaurants, and malls. I have stayed here twice so far. The place was clean and welcoming, with professional and friendly staff. I recommend this hotel for vlaue and location.

Basically this hotel was great in most facilities and staffs are really friendly and helpful and responsive. All the facilities are well clean as expected. Location is great and convenient Price is reasonable, also the street environment is not too too crowded.

Only thing I really disappointed is the Internet/WiFi connection speed, which is very very slow and unstable. I dont think it is acceptable for most of the business travelers who need to have stable internet connection all the time.

Lovely modern hotel. Spacious and clean rooms. We were fortunate to have two adjourning rooms, ideal for a family of four, with views of the harbour. Rooms were cleaned daily. Hotel has a large outdoor pool, gym and smart bar area for winding down at the end of the day. Fantastic location close to the tram line and Quarry Bay train station. Staff very helpful and assisted when required. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Ground floor entrance to lifts was always locked (required for prams etc). We had to wait for someone to come along and unlock.

Location away from busy city centre meant more value for money and spacious room. Bus stop and tram stops are short walking distance away.

We had wanted to extend the booking of the room and were told to do it over booking.com as it was cheaper. We said we didnt mind to extend directly with front desk because the same room configuration wasn't listed as available and we were told to book over another 3rd party site. We spent some time going back and forth about this. Wished the front desk could make this request for extension more convenient as we spent almost an hour for this.

I like that there is pest control included during my stay & the strategic location based next to the MTR station, eateries and convenience store. Hotel attendees were very pleasant & accomodating. I was able to get a decent night's sleep in a quiet room & the gym facilities was enough to accommodate my workout needs.

The sauna & pool facilities remained closed. After 14 days, the deposited amount of HKD500 that was on hold and that was supposed to be voided suddenly got deducted from my bank account today. I have called the bank to clarify on the matter. Hopefully, this is a mistake on the bank's end & that they are able to refund the amount to me.

Transport is paticularly convenient both around the island via bus or mtr as well as by direct bus to the airport from almost at hotel doorstep.. Pretty well run hotel with new reno premium rooms at higher floors. Was at their premium room during previous stay. Tried their lower floors for this stay.

The initial room they gave had smoky smell but they changed it immediately and it was fine.

I have reserved a 30 day suite from Jan 23- Feb 22 for my sister and her family, altogether 3 guests. Offer to long stay guests harbour view upgrade if at all possible

The hotel is very well situated on Hong Kong Island, just a short walk to all forms of public transport. The rooms are large and well appointed, although those that have been refurbished are sadly lacking in storage. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

The only (minor) complaint was the pillows, which compress to almost nothing overnight. A problem easily overcome by the provision of additional pillows which were quickly supplied.

It’s 3 minutes walk from MTR station, I booked premier room on 32/F hill view, we got upgraded to sea view room, the renovation is much newer, you can easier put 4-5 luggage under the bed, so you have more space in the room. There’s a day bed, my 11 year old daughter sleeps there comfortably.

It would be nice if they can upgrade their air con, it’s either too cold or too stuffy. Swimming opens at 9am in the morning, hope they can open it before working hours.
