EAST Hong Kong

The first of a number of hotels on our trip around Asia, we loved our stay here. We were upgraded to a corner room and the view was spectacular, even though we had a city view. The corner meant we could look back towards the harbour. Do use the blinds on the windows for privacy. The location is great for what we needed - close to family, the MTR and the mall City Plaza. The team at the front desk were amazing, the cafe downstairs great for a catch up with friends and we enjoyed a drink on the rooftop bar, Sugar. We had an issue with the plumbing but this was resolved promptly.

Hotel location not so close to central but just beside the MTR and a good and big shopping center .. The room was comfortable and big enough and fancy with good view for the harbour. (20th floor). The rooftop bar have a nice environment and good view.

Room with poor soundproofing, you hear a lot of noise from the corridors and other rooms. Pool hours are very limited for summer closing at 7 pm. There are tall building between the hotel and the harbour, so middle /low floor will have the view blocked.

The room is bright, clean and well-lit. The size is really good too by HK standard and the bed is comfortable. It's right next to the MTR station so really convenient to get around.

The discovery that booking direct through the hotel website is ~20% cheaper!

If you are visiting Hong Kong u should stay in East Hong Kong. Very clean rooms, new building with wonderful restaurants, wonderful location (next to Tai Koo MTR), friendly, kind, helpful staff.. During our stay we had some health issues and the way staff help us was priceless. Thanks to all of East Hong Kong team one more time. Everything u did to us are unforgettable. Definitely one day we will come back there.

The view was great and the lighting in the room made the atmosphere so good.

Great location - near Tai Koo MTR. Hotel is spacious and right next to a mall. The mall is huge as well. Within walking distance, there are eateries and cafes. Great environment around the property - quiet but with sufficient amenities. Most importantly, the hotel was accommodating enough to allow early check in as my flight landed at 5am. Very grateful for that.

This is a great hotel, superbly located just metres from the underground. Rooms are incredible (we had harbour views) and include a fridge which is always useful. Breakfast superb and the staff incredibly friendly and interactive. We particularly liked the roof top terrace.

We had a wonderful stay at East. Our corner room had a stunning view. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Two small points: (1)It would have been better if the pool had been heated. (2) I really liked the contemporary room design but there's only one drawer to store your clothes!

I love this hotel, because of the convenience of having everything nearby. Great crowd, you are not lonely. At a great value. The price is on par with the surrounding area.

For it is a great place, nothing to complaint about.

The hotel is extremely stylish and clean, and the staff is very attentive to our requests. The MTR station is just a step away from the hotel.

Our rate didn't include breakfast, and we're requested to pay for it in cash, which was somewhat weird given the post-Covid era and the fact that the hotel is very modern.
