The Kowloon Hotel

When we borrow the wine opener the staff came right away.Good amenities and easy access to train station.

We didn’t have the adjacent room for I have requested.

Very central. Easy to go around.

TV is not good at all. Not the size of it but there are only a few irrelevant channels. Seriously bad TV. They need to do something aboutr it.

The location is everything. Walking distance to K11 Musea art mall, the harbor, art and space museum. Right under the hotel are restaurants and subway station. If it's too hot, you can just walk most of your way through the subway tunnels to nearby shopping/amusement areas. As far as housekeeping is concerned, they are very prompt. They will call you to verify what time you want your room to be cleaned if you don't want to be disturbed in the mornings. They even check if you want fresh refills of towels and bottled water should you decide to skip the room cleaning for the day. The hotel is old and it shows, but the bathtub and the whole bathroom is very clean. Beds are comfortable too. And there's a spare blanket in the cabinet.

Toilet flush is a little weak/slow. Walls are thin. You can hear anybody having conversations by the hallway clearly.

It’s very near malls, restaurants, MTR and Bus station and avenue of the stars. We were able to check in an hour early and the staff are very friendly. Room is cleaned every day and towels are replaced daily. Water is also replenished daily.

Room is too small and very expensive. We chose twin beds but since the room is very small, the beds are beside each other as if it’s just one bed. It always smells when we return from outside and we can’t figure out where the smell is coming from.

I’ve been fortunate to have stayed at this hotel just 7months ago and the staff and amenities are consistently good. This hotel is well positioned for sightseeing and the beds and pillows allow you to sleep well after a busy day out. Oh, and if you want a coffee or tea or just a snack in the lobby cafe Lydia is the best hostess. Such a professional. I highly recommend The Kowloon Hotel and look forward to staying another time when in Hong Kong. Thank you for my enjoyable stay once again.

The staff not good to pilipino visitor

The location was superb for us, situated on Nathan road and within such a short walking distance to the Star Ferry to cross over to Hong Kong Island. Close to the water and perfect for watching the evening light show. The central location made it very easy to get about Kowloon and many restaurants and great shopping in the immediate vicinity. Hotel staff super helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

Rooms are small, to be expected in Hong Kong I know, but to be honest, if staying for longer than a couple of nights it would be very challenging with lack of space. Decor a little dated and a little shabby in places and air-conditioning struggled.

Location - hotel has its own MTR exit Tsim Sha Tsui L4. There is also a lift that takes you to street level near the main entrance in case you're arriving with suitcases. Better to enter via the main entrance and not through the escalator as there are only stairs from the MTR to the hotel. Good to know in case of extreme weather. Close to everything you might need (convenience store, pharmacy, lots of food options, shopping malls and the ferry) Room - big and clean, the bed was comfortable. There was a tub, daily housekeeping, enough power sockets Reception and people working at the lobby were very helpful and efficient

Not a fan of the carpet in the room. The doorway was a little narrow (just wide enough for a person) we had trouble getting in and out of the room (with a push chair for our toddler). It was always in the way (we didn't want to bring it all the way inside because the room was carpeted.

Convenient location that can be accessed on ground level or in the underground mall with the Tuen Ma line MTR (East Tsim Sha Tsui station). Contemporary room furnishings with comfortable bed, glass table, desk chair, bed stands, ambient lighting, mini refrigerator, safe, coffee pot with tea bags and instant coffee, two bottles of water per day, hot shower, pumps with shampoo/conditioner and hand soap, fluffy towels, complimentary tooth brushes and toothpaste, etc. The elevators were quick serving customers in 400+ rooms who never waited long. The restaurant with buffet and Window Cafe had a menu serving Chinese food and Western food. The first night we ate salmon, margarita pizza, and mushroom soup that were delicious! Outstanding customer service. Compliments to Jerry in reservations who answered all my questions about transportation to and from the hotel via MTR to the Hong Kong airport and also from Lok Ma Chau in Shenzhen. In addition, Jacky at the front desk accommodated my request for a late checkout do that I could run an errand in Kowloon and pack the items before checking out. Kyle at the Window Cafe Bar was an attentive host and server. I will definitely recommend others to stay at the Kowloon Hotel and I will return.

The room was too cold when entering the room for the first time. Then, we figured out how to adjust the temperature and turn it off. The air filter was used upon entering the room each time and it was turned off easily by pressing the on/off switch.

Great Location : Located at the central of Tsim tsa tsui ,Plus Very near to MTR , Bus stop and Ferry. Room : Side Harbor view room type had a incredible view and worth for upgrade from the normal room. ** For Fireworks night ( NewYear ) there is a road blockage by a police. But we Told the officer we stay at The hotel and show KEY-CARD + KEY-CARD cover Which show a Check-In and Out Date .The police let us pass the blockage to the hotel without walk roundabout 1-2 Km.**

Check-In had a long line and take a while for the process due to NewYear Vacation.
