Holiday Inn Golden Mile, an IHG Hotel

Fantastic location. Right in the heart of the city.

I stayed there for seven days. And when I asked for a late checkout, the staff first told me to contact reception. So I called reception, and no one picked up the phone for 10 mins at around 10 am. Then I called back guest services, and the same staff picked up. I told her that I could not reach reception. She aggressively refused me for the late checkout. I had to remind her that the hotel was almost empty and I had been staying there for seven days. Eventually, she granted me the late checkout, but I believe the situation could have been handled better.

staff are helpful esp Herman Kwan at the Concierge. he was ready to assist us. helped us book for the nearest pcr testing center, and gave tips on food delivery. he was very pleasant. all staff were all nice. even the cleaning lady at our floor. she offered extra water and towels.

I was shocked when checked in, staff told me that I will be charged 3500 hk dollar for room cleaning if I get Covid during stay. this was never mentioned in booking.com website when I booked my room. it was midnight, i have to sign agreement before i can check in. it feels terrible. very bad experiences

Location is very strategic, very near to harbour, ferry,1881 heritage, star avenue. The street parade is just in front of the hotel. Money exchanger, restaurant, train station, just about 3-5 minutes walk. There is a wanton noodle small restaurant,3 minutes walk from hotel which is still open at midnight. We were hungry after street parade and disneyland, as we reached hotel at around 11pm plus and the restaurant still opens, with their delicious food. Bed is comfortable, and have bath tub.

The concierge. The concierge on the last day of our trips - 13feb. He was very arrogant. Rude when we asked him question whether we shall book taxi in advance for tomorrow morning to go to the airport.

the location was superb. the bed and pillows were comfortable.

Location is marvellous. Convenient & accessible to areas to visit. Despite the hotel is "old" but most facilities and facade are well-kept and maintained.

During my visit (Room for improvement) 1. Noticed one of the guest lift card reader were not functioning properly, despite twice experiencing the malfunction, suggest that front desk or maintenance dept to have a much watchful eye on guest facilities. 2. Entering Lobby from Mody Road, on and off caught stench of garbage smell, as I guess the 4-compartment garbage bin were not properly cleaned (despite heavy occupancy) or a garbage compactor is nearby? Note: not once or twice, most of the time in evening (8 to 10pm) and a few incidents during morning (8 to 9am)

Great hotel service. Miss Jacqueline at the front desk was very helpful and helped us find a hospital that we needed to visit. Location is excellent if you spend most of your stay in Kowloon or the Island. Subway is just across the road and you can easily take a stroll down Nathan Road for shops, Kowloon Park, K11 Musea and the harbour.

Bathroom in the family room needs to have the bench lowed or provide a stool for young children under 5 yrs of age to access the sink. It also needs some hooks for the clothes in the bathroom. There is only one stool to sit on in the entire room. Most guests will have to only sit on their beds.

The hotel is located at Tsim Sha Shui and can exit by H which can go through the i-Square shopping mall and cross the road..the hotel is just opposite. Many choices of food and the very famous Bakehouse is just nearby the hotel with walking distance about 3 minutes. The Bakehouse eggs tarts are very very nice and delicious and expect a long queue. The famous Kowloon Resturant is just opposite the Bakehouse. The bus stops are just opposite the hotel, which can bring you to nice Chinese old bakery shops (Kee Tsui), Tim Sum at Wing On (Level 8) etc. We stayed at level 6 for 3 people with 2 double beds. The room is big and very comfortable. You can take taxi from the hotel lobby to Hong Kong Airport for about HK$285.

There lots of things to like about it!! The location of the property is prime. Holiday Inn is cornered by Nathan Road & Mody Road. When using MTR, you just alight at Tsim Sha Tsui station and exit at N5. The hotel would just be beside it. And if you preferred bus, buses pass by here all the time, as bus stops are located in the corners. The staff are also really kind. They will hail a taxi for you if you asked for it — which we did when we went back to the airport early morning. When we decided to to avail their airport transfer, their partner company is already closed, it was past 10pm, and the cut off time for booking is 9pm. We already had airport express tickets and octopus cards but deemed to veer away from it instead since we had a kid, luggages, and additional bags to carry, and we are just simply very tired from all the walking & transferring. Their rate is around 850hkd, while the taxi is around 300hkd. Travel time is approximately 45 minutes.

Top central location - ideal for shopping and MTR station in front of the house. Room a bit outdated - need to renovate the bathroom with shower and water faucet Breakfast - excellent - wide range - from healthy to greasy and heavy - very friendly and accommodating staff

Bistro on Mile - closes every evening at 9.15pm - we were interested to get a coffee and a slice of cheesecake after diner! Room 326 - carpet need to be replaced Bathroom 326 - no shower - only traditional bathtub with shower curtain - faucet is old fashion pool - no changing facilities - only one simple shower - pool inside wall need to be cleaned
