Pemedal Beach Resort

location, beautiful rooms, gorgeous, well maintained gardens, pool area, friendly staff (nothing is too much trouble), great value for money

Wifi is slow and a bit unreliable. Way too much use of plastics. each room is delivered 4 small bottles of water per day - it would be better to install large water containers with taps in each room that are exchanged when empty. Also plastic straws are still used in every drink from the bar… I love you Pemedal, but please, please, think of the environment and change to paper or reusable straws and stop providing small plastic water bottles. I am a scuba diver and there is so much plastic in the ocean around Lembongan and Penida. Please Pemedal, do your bit to keep these islands beautiful - the changes I have suggested wouldn’t be hard to make.

Spacious accommodation and not right next to neighbours - no noise. Swimming pool and beach access with optional meals and restaurant/bar. Welcome drink on arrival and very helpful and friendly staff - they helped me arrange a tour and laundry amongst other things. Fridge in room was great and air con fab!

There is now a sea wall which separates the property from the beach so some of the photos are out of date. You can still get to the beach just at the sides of the property but it just isn’t exactly as pictured now.

This is one of the best resorts I've ever been to. With the right price, I get very good facilities and views. Clean rooms, neat restaurants, and very easy accommodation I also get. The food provided is also very tasty and varied. In my opinion, the best spot is the swimming pool which has a direct view of the sea. The staff here are very friendly. They helped me a lot while on vacation here. Spending time in the mangrove forest, visiting the nearby beach, snorkeling, then resting at Pemedal Resort is a very pleasant time. It will be even more fun if you spend time with the people closest to you while here.

It's a beautiful little resort right at the beach. Perfect location with walking distance to restaurants and shops. Especially for divers with blue corner dive school next to Pemedal. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and very clean. Super comfortable beds. Terrace with ocean view. I would highly recommend this place, it's a great value for the money.

Restaurant was closed and there is some maintenance happening, but this is normal as the Island is just recovering from being empty for 2 years. Keep this in mind and don't expect to be everything perfect, then you will have a great stay.

The staff, the chef, the food, location, pool, views of the volcano and seaweed farming. all were great. we loved it here, the great choice of breakfast and lazing around the pool drinking lovely cocktails watching the sunset on the beanbags! just blissful!

the bungalows were lovely however very dark as the walls, ceiling, furniture, bedside tables and lamps, mirrors were all dark wood and the curtains and bedcovers were dark brown. it would be lovely if the brightened the rooms up!

Breakfast served in open air restaurant, cooked on request, and served with fruit and juice, lovely.

Like everywhere else in Bali, things are just starting to open up, so limited items available in bar, but walking to distance to plenty of other options.

The locations is great, with an ocean front pool and dining. The best part of our stay was definitely the staff, we have stayed at Pemedal a couple times and each time the staff is amazing and friendly.

The WiFi is not always the best in the rooms.

The place is good overall and the staff were very helpful. Some things to improve though. Bali is dirty with rubbish around but not much our hotel can do about that. I think someone needs to sort this out and tidy the place up a bit. Don't know what Bali used to be like but I think things have changed. The beach is not like the picture. It's a raised area above the shore but you can get to it easily enough. However, the beach/shore is full of boats! You can't swim very easily. You can dip but not swim. Too many ropes and boats and if you go further out the risk of props was too much for me. Also, it seems that the whole shoreline is surrounded by seaweed nets and poles which makes swimming and even dipping more of a challenge, especially if the tide is out. I suppose not a hotel thing but did spoil my enjoyment. This goes for pretty much the whole island from what I could see. The rooms were a bit dark and no one cleaned the room until we asked, and we were there for 8 days. Same with towels. And the bin was never emptied during our entire stay! Bit of a shame really. Did happen when we asked though. The "high street" keeps you on your toes with lots of scooters constantly which can be a pain but it's life here I guess. It's mostly the tourists of course. I trust the locals far more. I did like the place generally. I think better than a lot of other options in the area. Did have two nights where a group arrived and took over the speaker and pool and played rubbish loud music and I think staff were too intimidated to stop them. Can't blame them I suppose but not great for the rest of us. The diving around the reef was amazing with lots of fish and turtles. We won't go back but if you get a good deal I would say do it.

The setup and layout of the resort is excellent. Plenty of space to enjoy the pool and the views. The restaurant is right next to the pool and sand area which means it’s very easy to get service while you’re relaxing. Incredible sunset views! But the best thing was the staff! Every single person we interacted with had a huge smile and wanted to assist us. They go over and above to make their guests feel welcome. If you are there in the afternoon, then even provide a little cake and juice or smoothie which is so thoughtful. The food and drinks were also amazing. Putu makes the best cocktails!! And after eating at a couple of other places on the island, it has by far the best food at very reasonable prices. We will go back for sure! Terima kasih to all the wonderful staff at Pemedal!!

Absolutely nothing!

Pemedal is beautifully positioned on the beachfront with a gorgeous pool and relaxing surroundings. Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The restaurant is open and serves great breakfasts, cocktails and dinner.
