Owner picked me up at the bus station. Greatly appreciated as many delays with airlines pushed back my arrival date. Owners arranged for a taxi to take me and my friend to the Cliffs of Moher to hike for the day. They also gave us a ride to the bus station on the day of our departure. The owner gave us her cell number and said call if you need anything while out and about. I attempted to tip them, at least give them some gas money upon departure, and they politely declined in their easy joking manner. The couples Irish hospitality and humor was the highlight of our stay. The old and historic home was also perfect. They set a beautiful table in the morning for breakfast which is included in the night's lodging.

Can't think of anything.

Everything. This is the place to stay if you have a car and are staying in Ennis, or doing the cliffs of moher or exploring CO Clare and need a base. The accommodation, the hosts - (Gerry is the perfect B&B host), breakfast is an amazing surprise, even freshly cooked scones in the morning... I can't recommend enough. We were on a road trip around Ireland for just over 2 weeks and this was a stand out - thank you so much Gerry :)

The B&B was beautiful and the hosts Mary and Jerry were absolutely lovely and very helpful. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and prepared with a lot of care, the everybody I met here was friendly and made me feel very welcome. Since the property is located a little outside of the Ennis city centre, Mary gave me and the other guests a ride, and even helped me pay my bus fare when I did not have enough change. If you're looking for a quiet, nice, comfortable stay with a fantastic breakfast and friendly hosts, this is it.

The breakfast was healthy, with oats, joghurt, beeries, coffee or tea, water, milk, orangejuice, toast, scones, butter an marmelade. Everything we needed. Water, coffee, tea with Water heater in the room. Towels, soap and shampoo. All was fine. The house is a cosy place, restored with old wooden floor and beautifull doors, stairs and fireplaces. Ask Garry, were you can get lunch or dinner in Ennis. The Cliffs of moher are 30min away.

Everything was ok.

Very comfortable, plenty of room and great hosts. The breakfast was delicious, and the house is beautiful, Mary gave us a ride into town and suggested places for dinner. Afterwards we walked back to Knockaderry House, about 20 - 30 mins from the town centre. There are places to eat closer to them but it was nice to explore the town . Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay .

EVERYTHING. The ambiance, the house and grounds were beautiful. Jack was very welcoming and accommodating and clearly proud of his establishment. Trust bar in place for an evening tipple. Beds extremely comfortable. Room immaculate. We would have expected to pay more. Breakfast was marvellous. No faults whatsoever and would recommend without doubt.

Nuffing!!!!!

I was made very welcome by a lovely lady, she even refused to get me a taxi into town as she said she would drop me in . When I returned there was fresh water jugs outside my room . I wanted to take the bed home as it was that comfortable. Breakfast was continental . The fruit was fresh and there was nice bread and coffee to go with it . The table was well laid out and I would highly recommend this stay

There was nothing that I did not like about my stay.

Gerry & Mary have a lovely Irish B&B located close to the quaint town of Ennis. Their home was located on a dairy farm from 1853, and has all the charm of its’ history-with modern updates for travelers. We absolutely LOVED it! The breakfast this morning was incredible. Can’t say enough ‘good things’ about Knockaderry House and hosts! 😎☘️🙌🏻

A fine mid-1800s house, tastefully modernised but keeping the 'character' of the house. A good range of items at the Breakfast and was pleased not to be offered any cholesterol rich Full Irish stuff! :-)

Slow cistern refill in one of the toilets. Funny thing: light in one bathroom was on a motion sensor which couldn't always detect my tiny wife!

Mary is really kind and attentive to detail, she took care of everything. We felt at home and it was one of the most beautiful anniversaries we've had... a note on the room... it's like stepping into one of the books of Jane Austen and live it .. Let's not talk about the super delicious scons breakfast, she also kindly gave us the recipe ... nice experience
